Awwwww......what's the fun in that ?? It's a challenge to try to hold off those guys. I've tried every method I can think of. You only have like 3-4 minutes to get everything in place before the enemy is in the town. So I put all the mines I can from the ammo crates on the roads.....and put 4-6 satchel charges out which I can detonate once all the tanks / BMPs are in the town. And I take the M21 so I can snipe the enemy soldiers from outside the town. There's a number of damaged tanks around which you can use to shoot......but your soldiers won't board them, you have to do it yourself and you usually end up dead that way. Manning the machine gun posts seems to end the same way. So I usually just flee the town as quickly as possible. I've made a good dent in them a few times.....sniping away a bunch of soliders and blowing up a few of the tanks. But there's always more than I can take on in the end.....without bringing in the chopper. Steve

It's under the CWC MP section.....it's called Lost Squad....Sorry, I can't remember which Island....not at my home PC right now. It's MP.....but I've only played it by myself. Pretty neat mission.....very hard....I've never held the town....only fled and come back with the chopper to succeed. Steve

Have you guys played Lost Squad a lot ? I've played that mission about 50 times I think. With four AI soldiers, I don't see how you can manage to hold that town. Seems impossible, even with placing mines and satchel charges. The only way I found to win was to leave the town.....and either walk or drive the truck to the port....and steal the helicopter there to come back to the town and destroy all the tanks there. Anyone else find a better way ?? Curious to hear what others have done. Steve

Yeah, I went to buy the gold upgrade.....and that link for the download option.....doesn't work either. ARrrrr. I emailed them. You can buy the physical one and they'll ship it to you....but double the price plus I have to wait. Thanks for trying ! Steve

Okay.....dumb question....forgive me. I have Operation Flashpoint.....and have the patches up through 1.46 I believe.....and I also have Resistance and have the patch up through 1.91 for that. Is Red Hammer a part of that ?? I haven't played in about a year and I don't remember ever playing a mission like Alamo that people are talking about here. Is it a separate purchase / download ?? Hey guys....I posted this the other day but didn't really get any responses. I have a mission I created for multiplayer. It works fine with two PC's on my LAN at home. I have several soldiers as "playable" and I have no trouble setting that up for a LAN game. However, I would like this to work on GameSpy as well for multiplayer over the internet. When I do this, there are two players connected but only one "slot" to drag them into. So I cannot get both players into the game. Is there something more I need to do to set this up properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Steve

Hey guys. I searched but can't find anything on this. I have a mission for OFP 1.46 that I made myself. It works fine on my LAN with two players. But via GameSpy, when I select my mission and press OK.....you get to the Server Setup screen.....and have Pool and West. There is only one <Unassigned> slot there for the two players connected. Why is this and what can I do to fix it? I can select say Desert Ambush and have mutliple slots there no problem. But with MY mission in GameSpy it won't work. Fine on the LAN though so I don't get it. Thanks for any tips. Steve [email protected]
