Denoir, that looks like an AK5 in the first pic. You'll see a correctly made AK5 "GRT" for our next release (SFP). Also, i've started planning the making of KJ & A-dyk. Maybe we could exchange some ideas? Sorry for going off topic btw.

First of all, you might ask "hey, where's 1.0?" Well that was only released to a select few for testing and feedback. However, we now feel that the pack is sufficiently finished for an official release. Note that we'll keep updating the pack with various new units and weapons, but don't expect anything grand, the core team basically consist of 3-4 ppl. And we don't do requests, but all ideas are welcome and will be considered. But the basic goal of the pack would be to release a Swedish squad of soldiers, not a full simulation of the military forces. Up and coming soon is the SSG special forces and Amfibiesoldater, the "marines". This pack includes; - Swedish mechanized squad (including the very old PBV501, seeing it was the only vehicle that could easily be made for ofp without compromising the release date, yes it sucks but it's a transport innit?) - AK5/B/D/GRK/D with reddot sight + GRK - KSP58 (KSP90 coming) - Kpist M/45B (retro) - P-skott - m/84 GRG - Pistol 88 - PSG90 - Spränghandgranat 56 Make sure you read the including readme, it's only in swedish though atm. If there are any questions, feel free to ask here. If you fancy helping out, say hello, or just tell us how crap we are, stop by #swepack on quakenet. Haven't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this has been asked before, but will you peeps include the CV9030 you bought off us rather recently? Would be cool seeing the CV9040 vs the CV9030, plus it's one helluva IFV. We've got a finished model that just needs skinning. Anyway, keep up the very very good work lads. Wish there were more swedish mods making such progress. :/

Just a small status report about what were doing, here are two screens of the Strf 90 IFV and TGB11 transport. Note, none of them are skinned, since we are in the need of a skinner. Hello all, Making an english version of the pack would require some work, but we'll look into it, as Gran says we made it in swedish first, seeing we didn't imagine anyone else downloading it. But if there's a demand for it, I reckon it can be fixed, some way or the other. However, to the reason for my post; We have done a Strf90 IFV(CV90, used by Sweden, Norway, Finland and some other countries) model, now none of us in the team are really good at skinning, so we are in need of assistance. Glad to hear you like it. MotherRussiaAK74, the soldiers can be found under West/Men (Swedish). Denoir & Aaron Kane, Amfibie comes first, but after that, KJ might be possible. Not sure how A-dyk would fit in though, as they wouldn't really look much different from KJ on land, given they don't wear their fancy swimmingsuits. Atm were skinning the stridsväst 2000 (the new standard issue combat vest) for SSG and Amfibie. Oh, and merry christmas to you all!

Just played a quick mp game, dunno if this was something specific for this game but me and 3 others were in 2 abrams. I was gunner in the 1st one, my driver was driving on a plane surface (airport runway) and when i pressed V "weapon view" to aim... The sights were going up and down very fast, and for some reason the sight was being dragged down into the ground. This happened to all the peeps that tried being gunner. I shall do some more research on the subject though. Now, this didn't happen in 1.75, played it as early as yesterday. No connection problems either, got a 512/512 ADSL and the guy who hosted had the same. Was a tad annoying, seeing how two abrams got their arsed kicked by two bmp1's.

The present day AT4 (in the pic dkraver posted) replaced the LAW, it's a one-shot weapon. It wasnt around in -85. The LAW was however. It's a Swedish design, made under license by the US. The Carl Gustav however(which is the name of the manufacturer btw, it's like calling the M16A2 the "Colt" ) is a reloadable weapon.

A .50 wouldn't do shit on a tank. Think about this, in IRL a 40mm shell would have trouble penetrating the front armour of a modern MBT, then how the hell can a 12.7mm do it? And no.... There is nothing that says that you cant use the .50 against people, why is there then a .50 in the Abrams/on tripods then eh? For pot-shooting?
