    Damn ! ... Another addon I missed to fetch :) After 5min testing, I must say the grass is amazing, The trees are nice ( still prefer Berghoff 's ones) and would mix well with Resistance ones. As I cannot vote again cout +1 on "I44_Jc vegetation " for a French Contryside WW2 Island. :o

    Have you tried snYpir's SP/MP support pack http://www.ofpec.com/ed_depot/index.php?action=details&id=161 Quite easy to use with original ofp ... as for FFUR/SLX I don't know is this works out of the box.

    About Addons

    A good game will never die, ie: UFO, Dungeon Master, Aces Of the Deep, Doom, Panzer general, etc... ( most of them were ported to Lunix so I still play them once in a while with the same pleasure ) I just dream one day OFP wil go open source ( Yes I know ... this is just a dream ) @psychobambi: +1 for GOG, my original CD's are getting tired ...

    Is I44_Jc vegetation used in Anjou V3 (with grass) ? In that case go for it, just for the WW2 feel. Though Berghoff's stuff is amazing (I love the nordic pack and wished his northen CWC island were not beta). As for bis vegetation, well except from the Nogova one, it is quite crappy (IMHO). And having Nogova vegetation just feels like "Another Nogova Island"...

    @Sanctuary Not a bug but : As I noticed, it was quite hard to aim with the Vintorez (East shadow ops sniper), I tested it with a bullet cam script (http://www.ofpec.com/ed_depot/index.php?action=details&id=252). The muzzle velocity is 350ms, for the same ammo the Groza (Anti terror East) has 475ms. Thus, aiming for the neck à 200m gives a hit in the foot, at greater distance you have to aim almost at the black bottom end of the scope. Is it possible to increase the muzzle velocity or make the bullet lighter ? By, the way most of the scoped east weapons have the Dragunov sight, are you planing to replace it (like the pso from the M.A.P or Tonal S.P ) ? Any news concerning your plans for the mod ? So far so good, skirmishing with this mod is the best experience I've had in OFP for years.

    You are right Sanc., but making missions is a tedious process (mainly testing and testing again and again ...) barely compatible with $familly, $life, and $job. Though, your mod is made in such a way, that putting just a few groups and waypoints on the map and let them run is fun enough: The job you pulled-up is really amazing, even surpassing GRAA ! ( I play on Linux and OFP is the only enjoyable and supported combat simulator that runs on Wine, your mod makes it just perfect ...) But off with congrats and Penguin propaganda :) , I have 2 questions: 1 - Is it possible (PLEASE) to get back - by default - the old (WW4-1) climb animation. - I think it won't break any missions so far as you mod is not a replacement one. - Plus: Limiting such a good feature is just well errrrr .... :( sad ! 2 - Is there a way to limit mortar fire map click to ta given distance of the player. - If you can just blowup your objective from milles away by map click, this is no fun ! I already thought of playing with the "ww4_MortReveal" and deleting the mortar logic according to a "GetPos player" but I have not tested it ... ----- That's all for now And I promess, if time allows, to post link to WW4 missions I made on this forum.     Should I buy Operation Flashpoint

    On the OFP side, you'll only need to patch to 1.96, but to really enjoy it with your new machine (IMHO) you'll need to download some replacement addons, ex: SLX or GRAA (GRAA is the lighter of the 2). For Arma vs Ofp I can't tell as, I'm using Linux and Playing OFP through Wine ( Arma is not playable with wine). Nonetheless, Ofp is around 5€ (in Europe) and Arma2 will be released soon, so buy OFP and wait for Arma2 ... As far as I am concerned, I'll buy Arma2 ( if it is not copy protection ladden ...) and do my best to make it work with Wine. ( some sleepless nights ahead !!! ) Bregs, Raum_Schiff.

    Not by default, though the BMP2 has an AT5 Launcher.     AI question

    The Ai waypoints can be randomly assigned by the mission maker so the mission doesn't play the same every time. The Ai will follow waypoints, but will usually react to ennemy and terrain and make it to the objective but not in a straight line. --- This is the disturbing and fun part of OFP --- The leader points you to ennemies when HE sees them, but allas !), they move, and if he looses contact with the ennemy, the ennemy marker you were assigned to does not change ... until you (or anyone of your squad ) spot the ennemy again. To summ it up + some advice : - Don't blindly trust your Ai group leader. - If not the leader, try to survive ... not die as a hero. - Mark ennemies you see for your group (right-click) - Keep WIDE with the formation - Expect ANYTHING even the WORSE/BETTER from Ai.     The missions and the Addons are in a way related by gaming. GRAA modifies addons and gaming: - Squad spacing - Ia view and Hearing - Engagement distances - Recoil, smoke, Los ( All customizable, that's the fun part ! ) Campaigns and Missions are modified by their gaming value. For example : Play mission "Bomberman" with vanilla OFP then with GRAA, the change will be obvious ( as an ak74 bullet right in the eye ! ) ... Time to close ... and play Bregs, Raum_Schiff

    As far as I know ( I always had OFP GOTY, which includes Resistance and RedHammer ), The addons made for resistance and Red Hammer Have been changed by the GRAAModPack, For example : The bison smg --> Ak74su silenced. Engineer ans sappers ---> Modified models. Res and Rh Models are also affected by the burn scripts. Res and Rh soldiers are also affected by dispertion effects and squad spacing modifs. etc ... etc ... That means : The Campaigns using those addons are also "Changed" ... Nonetheless there is no change in the campaign missions as they are. Bregs, Raum_Schiff.
