    AGEIA PhysX in ArmA?

Does anyone know if ArmA will be coded to make use of the AGEIA PhysX or similar type coprocessors? AGEIA Homepage  I realise these are the 387 maths coprocessors of today, but i think they could help games make use of truely lifelike physics. Dell are offering them in there Renegade brand gaming PC as an option along with Quad Gphx (when the nVidia 7950's are readily available) and all the extra's for a nice rig.

crash when loading saved campaign mission

Avonlady, i think you misunderstood my original request. I just meant that i have to load a mission (not the entire campaign) from the start as when i select the "continue" after saving a mission 1/2 way thru, Flash crashes back to the desktop. if i had enough time to commit to playing a entire campaign from start to finish then i'd be far more proactive with mission designing and in the Flash community in general. I'd also be far less stressed than i usually am, as Flash is my only form of stress relief... sad isn't it! appologies for the misunderstanding. it was certainly not my intention.

crash when loading saved campaign mission

Thanks Avonlady... So basically i'm stuck with playing my campaign missions from start to finish. Such is life... I'm not into any form of cheats for Flash. I'm a purist in that respect and "tainting" my beloved Flash with a cheat (even such a lame one) would break my heart. it makes sence what you've said anyway. I don't think i could play Flash now without ECP & DR Sounds. the mod is too good.
  4. Greetings. Problem - when attempting to load a saved campaign (Orig, Red Hamm or Res) mission, Flash always crashes back to the desktop or locks up when loading. If I try to load without ECP running, Flash locks up during load. If i try with ECP, Flash crashes to desktop with following error on windoze desktop: "Cannot load 'Users\Player1\Saved\campaigns\resistance\continue.fps'. Error 'No entry' at '/GameState/Variables/Item0/data.value" System h/ware Amd XP2400,512m DDR, Ge4TI4200 4X, Epox mobo, Western Dig 120g JB IDE drive, EAX sound s/ware WinXP SP2 (crashed prior to SP1, with SP1 & now SP2), Dx9.0b. Flash GOTY 1.96, HW T&L - ECP 1.071, Keg's Hisky addons (No other addons) I've been  living with the problem for 12 months and always start a campaign mission from the start. due to infreqent gameplay i'm posting this now. Have searched forums so if resolution has been posted previous I apologize in advance. Let me know if anymore info is required.

Alter max no. of players on a dedicated OFPR svr

Rotate Alphabet 13 places... i like it. Relatively simple, yet hard to cypher.

Alter max no. of players on a dedicated OFPR svr

benu... that was too easy! maybe next time i'll try and stretch the grey matter a bit more? Thanks heaps guys.
  7. Greetings, i searched the forums on this topic but had no joy (maybe it was my search criteria that needed alteration)!?! My dedicated flashpoint server always allows a max no of players being 64. I have seen several other dedicated servers online that allow 8, 12 or another number other than 64 to connect. Where is the setting to define the max number of players allowed on a dedicated server? I'd like to throtle this back as i've only got a 256/64k ADSL link and want to make sure regulars only have access to the server (yes its password encrypted also). Server OS = Windows 2003 Ent Ed. Server Spec = Dual AMD MP1900 with 512m ram, U160 SCSI drives inet link = 256/64 ADSL link routed thru a clarkconnect linux box. (yes, the server is visible on the internet)

    Dedicated server & fadeware

I have recently setup a stand-alone dedicated server (AMD 2xMP1900, 512m DDR, SCSI, 1gbit LAN) I copied the entire flashpoint  directory (with Resistance) to the stand alone server (didn't install on server). Now when i run a LAN game from the dedicated server, all other players play fine, except me... I think Fadeware has kicked in and seen that my game box & server has the same game directory (and possibly CD Keys if they aren't stored in the WinXP registry) i am finding it extremely hard to hit targets and my gaming box occasionally locks up.. It never locks up when i'm playing single-player or if someone else runs the server. Its frustrating! is fadeware killing my gaming box? Â
