Lots of user-made missions, single-player and MP. But I'm curious as to why no one seems to be posting TEMPLATES. Is it hard to make a new one based on the BIS/CM originals? I mean, it would be nice to have a new Template for the SECTORCONTROL type of games, eh? Or new FlagFight and/or CTF templates which automatically adds more vehicles (instead of a couple of lousy jeeps), esp. armored and air units. Hmmm, I think I'll make my own. No one seems to have started making new ones. -RODION

Again, this little problem can be solved by a suggestion I made several months ago to solve the "camping near the enemy's respawn point" problem. The solution is to create a CTF mission where some AI Triple-A units are located near the respawn points. These Triple-A are to be "reinforced" or strengthened by some "castle" parts (can be used if you have the Editor Add-On), so that they cannot just be blown away by some TOWs or rockets. The fact that these units are controlled by AI, they can be very effective in making sure the no player-controlled aircraft stray near the area, lest they want to be flying swiss cheese. Thus, two problems solved--no more camping near respawn areas, and no more heli-blitzkriegs wiping out your vehicles. The latter will only work if your vehicles are safely stashed away in some quite-inaccessible and no-LOS area (i.e. sandwiched between rocks etc.). I've tested this and, although can be quite annoying because you'd really have to properly place the Triple-A to be "fair" to the opposing team (i.e. there should be no LOS between the AI Triple-A and their flag, because how in the world can the enemy approach the flag with a Vulcan waiting to tear them to shreds eh? hehehe), was really a nice and effective way to make the game more "interesting" hehehe. -RODION

"Respawn camping" usually happens this way: CTF missions with vehicles...all members of the Soviet Team decide to board the Hip. They fly to the US Base. Enroute, they encounter a Blackhawk which apparently ignored them, so they proceed to US Base. While they were about to land near the US Flag, BOOM! A US Team-member (LAW) takes out the chopper...all Soviet Team members die. Meanwhile, Blackhawk lands NOT near the Soviet Flag, but NEAR the Soviet Respawn point! All members jump out and position themselves...30 seconds later, when the dead Soviet guys respawn, they die immediately from a mix of small arms fire, grenades and LAWs coming from God knows where! Only discipline has stopped this where I play at (LAN Gaming Centers). If you're playing via the 'net, you can't do anything about this if the other team uses this strategy against you. -RODION P.S.
