I'm in the mission with James Gastovski, the one where you go to kolgujev in order to destroy the previously located shilkas. I selected m21 in the weapon choice. When mission started, i spotted 3 reds at about 180 meters. I zoomed on one's head, I could see his eyebrows printed on my rifle's scope. :biggrin: His head was in the center of the scope. -BLAM!- I missed him!!! how can that be? M21's supposed to be a sniper...is there some way I can fix this?

1.00! I can't believe it. There have been many changes in graphics since 1.00 such as the W-Buffer or the multi-texturing. My suggestion is that u hurry up and get that about 70 megs of updates.

Don't think this is the problem, but i was wondering on why u havo 2 kill that supreme video card with a P3 and 64 mbs of SDRAM!!! Anyway do you have a 1.30 updated from 1.20? If u don't, save your "users" folder, uninstall the game, reinstall it, apply 1.20 if you own euro version otherwise apply 1.30 and restore your users folder. Another cause might be the HW transformation and lighting. Put it on software on let the processor do it.

hi at all u guys, i'm having the following problem. I run the game on an Athlon 600 with 128 mb of sdram and an ati card with 64 mbs. Also I have an MS-6195 (sure u don't know it).My sound card is a SBLive payer 1024 with FPS 1500. Now, i would update my system to an Athlon XP 1800+, Motherboard with the VIA KT266A , 256 mbs of ddram and an ATi radeon 8500 ddr 64. Does someone with a similar config have any hardware- related troubles?On my actual sys the game runs smooth, but i'd not be happy to see it screwed up by my new pc. Thx all.

Ok guyz, when i started this topic i didn't think it was going to be such big. I read it all (phew!), but even if you discuss years on it the problem is this: can't get the shot in the center of the crosshair. I don't know anything about coding, but I hope it won't take much to BIS to fix this in their next patch.

Do you access the multiplayer typing the server ip in-game or thru something like Gamespy?

If you're talking about the mission select in multiplayer games, you only give your VOTE by double clicking on the map or clicking on it and then pressing ok. You have to wait all players in the game to finish voting by double clicking on the map they want to play, then you'll play in the map with more votes. Welcome 2 the ofp community

I have managed to have only enemies to start prone crouch or what with Switchmove, setunitpos or setbehaviour, but when i use it on myself, I only start playing standing. What can I do?

I alredy have that list, but I found one I likee, it's called "LyingStillV1" but when it starts yes, i'm prone, but before i can move the unit, it makes some movements that i want to disable. I'll look 4 it in opfpeditingcenter

Dunno if it's the same prob, but i have an ati card that freezes ofp with certain options such as Hardware T&L. Try changin' a little the parameters in Ofp configurator.

If you're at this point, you should have read the briefing. It says that in the south of the island there are some nato forces and you could find the direction with the polar star. My suggestion is that you find the south and run towards it with time acceleration, then you'll meet friendlies and mission will be over.

Look on the left of the fire. You'll see a BMP only waiting 4 u 2 get in. Board it and make Reds to be more red than they are, then get out of the BMP (or the Mi24 will spank you) and run through the mountains.

If you add a shortcut to your desktop to opf, then in its properties you'll see something like Shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\operationflashpoint.exe". add -nosplash after the last " and the game will boost up it's startup, by skipping the codemasters logo, the fade message and the BIS log.

In order to have the best game efficiency, you need to do a clean install from 1.20 to 1.30, as this would fix many bugs appearing on a game patched to 1.30 from 1.29 or 1.27 or other betas. I experienced one of these, with the laser designator and LGB's on the A10. Done this it is a good habit to access multiplayer games not from GameSpy, but DIRECTLY from the game by typing in the ip of the server. Another tip is that if you just want to use GS, Dedicated servers are more stable than user created rooms. Hope all this helped
