Can anyone explain why when you put in an IP address in the reportingIP does it default back to gamespy's server? I want this port open for personal use with a program I created to query the status of the server, but I do not want it posting the information to gamespy's server. Any information that anyone can provide on this option would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you both for your replies. Â I've written yet another program that responds to the specific port the server tries to send status to. Â This has made my day as I can now still query the server for the stats and it sends me the status as it changes on the server.
