Well I've just started, and restarted and restarted STS3 and I get so far in the campaign, I thought it was saved, and then when I restart ARMA2 I have to start from the very beginning again. Frustrated!!!! Also another curious bug... In the gear screen at startup I have a whole shitload of weapons to choose from but with no description in the lower left box. At the ammo dump before the training camp I have limited weapons (cool) but when I click on one I get a description of what kind of class/caliber that weapon is. I have all the required addons, obviously. Could it be that I am running CBA with them as well??? Anyways not being able to resume my saved games really sucks. I'll remove the CBA modfolder and see what happens. Thanks in advance

OK, I turned off antialiasing, had it set on low before. Haven't seen the problem since but I don't understand why that would make a difference and why I should have to do it.

flush command??? Drivers! good idea! But I'm pretty sure they're up to date. thx so far. @Rooks: You said you had the problem. Did drivers fix it?

Hi all wow been awhile. I searched for whiteout and whitescreen couldn't find anything. I'm not sure if the problem is with 1.05 or not. After about 10 minutes or so in game when I move I get a completely white screen but it still shows the green arrows for where my sqadmates are. I have to stop moving to get it to go away. Is this normal??? The only thing I could think of if it's normal is that I'm out of breath or something. Anyways lemme know! I've got a Dell XPS quad core (DON"T EVER BUY DELL) 2ghz, Crossfire 2x ati 3870 and Ageis physics card. 4gb Ram but I'm not sure it all gets used.... And yes I was stupid and drunk when I bought into dell hell. Thanks,

Hi All, I was a huge fan of OPF and I special ordered Arma2... I have a 1680X1050 screen with ATI crossfire 38-somethings... The game works. But why is my mouse so sensitive??? I've tried lowering the axis on both X and Y to no avail. I just patched to the latest 1.02.xxxxx..... I was a sniper in OPF but now I don't have good control over my mouse. Is it supposed to be this way??? Thanks in advance, Pitufo. P.s. I have a wireless microsoft mouse and I unplugged my saitek controllers.

Hi all, been away for awhile, but I was just seeing all the amazing breakthroughs and advancements that the community has made for OFP... My question, because I haven't been following the ArmA news, is are we going to be dissapointed with ArmA? Sorry in advance, I know I am asking out of ignorance. Just curious as to what everyone's looking forward to in ArmA. Just seems like we get more of our bases covered in OFP every day! (Reflective water?, Replays? Am I going to be able to run it on my computer, etc., etc....) OK, fire away! I hope I don't die in flames..... P.S. wasn't sure where to post this sorry.

Please clarify this for me... I just got Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and they tell people who want to create mods that they may not use copyrighted material (textures, etc...) from other games.... Yet the bird calls are DEFINETELY the same as OFP's bird sounds...... I just want to know if this was allowed or not.

Hello, I did a few searches for this but couldn't find anything. I'm trying to play the mission "Hawk In Nets" it was voted very good in the mission editing competition I think. I've got all the addons, running 1.96 but the mission won't run. I made an addon folder specifically for the mission addons, yes I did put the "Cybelle.anim" in my OFP/addon folder. One file I don't understand is the config.cpp that comes with the ADS_Guerillas. What to do with that? Can someone point me to a thread about this? Thanks.

Hi all it's been awhile since I played OPF... I just downloaded and installed the latest ECP mod. But I need some enlightenment as to the other mods, i.e. what they all do and the differences between: FFUR, EECP and ECP. I've been out of the loop about the FFUR, EECP, ECP mods just need a refresher course please. Do they work together? Or not? Thank you in advance.

Hmm... never heard of this Kx driver before. Â But, like I do in all posts like these, I am going to suggest: Open up your CPU case and spray it with canned air. Â Overheating, or dust buildup was my problem. Â But no-one listens to me..... Â O yeah, -NOMAP as well

Sadly, I never got to the lead model stage... Â I made all these improvements and mods and RPG elements but i couldn't find anyone to play.... Â Â I remember now the biggest problems with the game: Â The cardboard pieces kept moving around. 2: If you wanted to have a large-scale scenario you needed to keep track of a million little cardboard pieces on a small little piece of paper. Â Not to mention that you would have to roll dice for each one if they did a maneuver/fired/crouched/jerked-off lol. My solution for 1: was: Â To keep the cardboard pieces from moving around I found a large enough piece of metal (unwrapped it from an old door and flattened it) and then cut and pasted (with real life glue) the playing pieces onto cut-out magnet strips. Â (I would secure the map onto the big metal piece.) Â I had other improvements in the works as well such as a dynamic time system (for campaigns), fortress building rules and regulations, as well as a random event generator (done with the 2 10 sided dice... Or was that the 100 sided? Â can't remember now...). I wish I could turn my ideas into a video game it would be awesome. Â Except for the magnets. Â That'd fuck up your HD.

Anyone ever play the original Car Wars board game? Too bad it was so slow or convoluted or complicated or whatever the problem was. I remember trying to make my own modifications and expansions for it as well as a computer program to keep track of all the different units moves/timing position. There's some game coming out soon but it's multiplayer only that looks alot like carwars... I wish someone would make a single/multiplayer game of CW the way it was originally designed.
