    Hey all, I have a plane I am making and it's guns are 3 on each wing. Is there a way to make it look like all 6 guns are firing off tracers? I don't want the tracers coming off only one point on the mesh. It is a WW2 era aircraft and this would look rather silly. The reason I ask is because I have looked at a couple other addons they seemed to have this problem. Hopefully, if it is an engine limitation, there is a way to get around it. Also, why do people still release jet aircraft and not address the fact that the jet engines are missing the burn off/jet blast? Wasn't there a tutorial on this in the past? Thanks!

    Cool, thanks for the quick responses. Very interesting article! I am used to seeing the tracers from some flight sims I play. It probably wouldn't be that big a deal to leave them out. Just the gun flashes will have to do
  3. Hey all, this is my first post here but I usually check out this forum everyday from work. I have a question dealing w/textures. I modeled a plane in My 3d app and I learned how to export from  that to 02 with the textures intact. My texture file is a 32 bit, 1024 by 1024 pixel file that looks great in the app but in 02, even though it is mapped correctly, it looks like crap!  I can't export 3ds. It has to be either dxf, obj or vrml and then I import that file into 3dsmax for export to 3ds. I have been using vrml2 - is vrml2 the problem here? Does this format degrade the texture size too much? What is the best export option for me? Thanks!
