Oh forgot about color. In that case, I guess it could make a difference, especially if the sniper is using some sort of grass camoflage. i´m not sure if it´s still a bug with the grass´ alpha channel, but maybe the sniper would blend away like the shoes do in this picture.

it were three pics of two blackhawks inside and infront of a hangar and another two of a little convoi at the gates of the base. or just look at the last row of pictures on this page

guba and i were just correcting walker that the old downwash was the old downwash and not water spray however i do still think the blackhawk moves differently in the air. i´d really like to see video footage of a chopper moving in to unload troops. it´d really crack me up if the choppers would still ascend before they finally touch the ground.

I am afraid the splash is caused by the littlebird flying over the water and not cause of the waves . Although it would be a very nice feature to have indeed, which would add a lot to the atmosphere of the game. yes, guba is right. it was caused by a littlebird´s downwash over the water. what really makes me curious is the flight-behaviour of the blackhawk, which goes backward in (what i think) a different manner compared to ofp. did anyone notice? the loadmaster-simulation pressrelease says: maybe we get a little chance of a bit of it in armedassault...

actually he says "...it can rain, it can be foggy" has anyone noticed at the very end of the video, when he increases the viewdistance, the mousepointer doesn´t choke like it does in ofp?

Did you mean it is possible or you can't lase a target then switch to hellfires? I was thinking cofigure the laserdesignator as a wepon on its own. Select it, lase a target, while the laser is active switch to the hellfire and launch it. But the hellfire should only lock onto to the laser-target and nothing else. I know configuring the Hellfire to only lock onto a laser-target is the easy part (sam as A-10 lgb bombs). you can. the gun even follows the designated laserpoint. and you can switch to hellfires, lock on the laser target and blow it up. note that you´d have to point a little bit in front of the target with the LD, otherwise the missile is going over the target´s top.

nice project extraction, but i hope those kit- textures are only placeholders. the mix of texture qualities just doesn´t look good to me, sry to say. what i basically see is puzzled models with fracments from all kind of addons.

no problem there, shadow! you can even do it in the editor via "addweapon". no you can select the laser, mark a target, switch back to chaingun and fire at the lasertarget. an even nicer variation of this is: mark any point via the gunmounted laser, switch to hellfires and shoot at your target.

Aslong as you do that I dont see the problem ditto and i hardly doubt that SchusH is still in touch with ofp and it´s community anyways- he hasn´t answered an email about 1 1/2 years ago. i also think schush would even be proud to see someone revisit his very nice island!

i beg to everyone who will submit to the ofp combat photography thread: PLZ DONT MAKE USE OF THE PHOTOSHOP LENS FLARE FX! (you´ll be concidered as a porn- club- flyer- print- artist)  and sven: yes, it´s about one minute if you add the time photoshop needs to load, initiate and read your fonts. actually it´s a simple move to the filters->rendering filters->lens fx  hell, i hate this fx! //edit: ok, you added the time to stamp away the ofp sun. this would make about at least 5minutes work for me then enough OT from me now

well i hope that someone´s gonna take care of a realistic config- see wgl´s a10. also i´d like see some model improvements- see oyman´s a10 in this case. i do also think that some nicer camo schemes/ textures in general would be most appreciated. a lot of good reference can be collected from lomac for excample. but i support MFL´s cry- out for more load outs. even if it´s like hawks ka50 pack with scripts.
