I was wondering if a XP 1600 with 512 MB of SDR Ram is holding back my GF4 4200? ANy takers?

I was searching yesterday and it became painfully apparant that there are all of these high quality addons but no campaigns... I would love to see a campaign using the desert skins or one using the french FAMAS (multinational coalition maybe)? Does any one know of annnny good campaigns... I have PMC Fury and UTLOC (both very good but UTLOC edges PMC by a tad)

I ran into a few snags, i downloaded all the islands necessary but the campaigns refuse to run due to the fact that i don't have the addons.... The two campaigns that i downloaded are 1969 and DthrdNlr_Spec ops desert (or something like that) Can u guys help me out and tell me which addons i need and where i can find em?

What was that ssn u mentioned? Is it russian? They have a new ssn? I thought they were stickiin to the Akula...

It all started with my new rig or should i say my new speakers. When i finally got a hold of some klispch 4.1's i rushed to play operation flashpoint. It was great except for one detail...it had no surround sound. So after some diliberation i finally realized that it was my settings. I turned on hardware acceleration and eax and SHHHHAAAAAAZZZZZAAAAAM surround sound. But all my explosion sounds are garbaled. I doubt that it is my speakers cause i just got em. Also sometimes the voices sound odd? Any help? XP 1600 GF2MX400 64mb Sound Blaster Audigy x-gamer 512 MB SDR RAM Also i got some video card woes too...As you can see my card is kinda out of date i have narrowed it down to three cards but i dont' know which one GF3 Ti200 128 MB-this is the cheapest but i don't know how it will hold up in the future GF3 Ti500 64MB-This was my first choice but then i found out about the next one GF4 Ti4200 64 MB (do they come in 128, do you need that much memory)-this is as much as im willing to spend, although not much more than the GF3 is it a lot faster? I know its a lot but i gotta get this off my chest

Yeah i m thinkin that the 4200 has me sold. I am also pondering the idea of getting ddr ram. is the sdr to ddr change going to give me a good speed boost or am i approaching the land of diminishing returns?

I use Win 98...What is the big diff. between 4200 and 4400 does the performance upgrade warrant the cost
