Not every GI wore what he was "supposed" to. (I still wore OG's when I mustered out in '88, and have the counseling statements to prove it) Bobcatt, still got Khakis?
-
Gotta luvv it speaking as a 100% MotherRuckerHoverLover (class of '79) I think we need MORE hogs in the sky, Those new-age crappiles crash for no reason at all, at least a Hog you had to DO something to it.

The recoil of the 152mm beat the crap outta the crews? Really? <I spent 3 years of my life cooped up inside an A2, can't recall the gun beating the crap outta me ever, now the TC, there was a different story>
-
Who be callin' my Starship a failure? <M60A2 was the first thing I crewed> The A2 worked fine, they abandoned the missile component too early, the fire control system was better than the regular M60's, OMB just balked at the cost.

I tried to do that, after getting no responses from folks who owned several of the models I planned to include, I basically gave up, since I've no time to build my own models right now. <little issue with a hurricane, a 30' oak, and my house, if you comprehend the meaning>

Think I still have a few pics of "Mad Mike" and the lads, When you get around to Biafra, Just remember that the fellows in outlandish piratical uniforms were the "REGULAR" forces, not the Mercs.

Btw, SD.Kfz simply is shorthand for Sonder Kraftfahrezeug (special purpose vehicle) it was used to designate all military vehicles in German service (even captured equipment was given an SD number) Just as Pz.Kw pretty much just means Armored Fighting Vehicle. (AFV)

They ain't that great, IMHO, but if you wish to pick and choose through them I'll send you what I have. I'll have to take a look at what they are, since some of my stuff uses parts from others models (never intended for release, therefore I never sought permissions)

Y'all get over yourselves. Nice work, and interesting in the possibilities, (no not those, fools) Q, have you tried anything in different heights? or just bodymass/proportion?

Waffenwagen? SD231-2 "achtrad" (8 wheeler) was the more common name, I built the acht, the six wheel (also called SD231-1) and a 222 for my own purposes, never considered release (bad textures, many problems with turrets) Note to ya, for some reason, these things draw fire like magnets, put an achtrad and a tiger in one mission against lib45 units, nobody fired on the Tiger (which was closer) until they flamed the achtrad. guess Sov troops are offended by the design

Kinda on/off topic, but, In the Movie the Longest Day, did ya know the role of Piper Millian was played by Himself? As for musical choices, t'would na be a Highland regiment wi' out Black Bear laddie
-
I think Battleships would be over the top for the scale of OFP, A nice big Heavy Cruiser would do just nicely <if you're on the receiving end of it, you won't notice any difference between dying to 8 inch guns, instead of 16 inchers>

Considering there aren't any B2's missing from their base, I'd find it hard to credit the loss of one.

In Flanders fields the poppies grow, Among the crosses row upon row, -wilfred Owen Don't think no one cares, remembering history is a special thing, the common herd chooses to not recall last week, hardly expect them to go back 90 years.

Errata, only "Aces" in the IAS (Imperial Air Service) were allowed to personalize their mounts. The lozenge pattern was designed as 1 part camo, 1 part easy aircraft recognition. And that's a rather subdued version there, I've seen an Austro-Hungarian Avitik that could hurt your eyes if you stared at it too long.
-
yep that's the "chicken chucker" (long story)
-
Somebody finish one, <it's the base chassis for the Chapperel ADA missile system, something lacking from Cold War scenarios>
-
On the subject of slogans, The French are widely known for the free use of expression on armored vehicles. Military victories, names of provinces, leaders, wine, heck, even names of girlfriends have adorned French tanks since there were French tanks. and btw, I've seen that slogan, "Avance le char de mort" painted on an M36B1 tank destroyer used by French forces in Korea in 1951, so it is historical.
-
Ain't D/l'd them yet <not home> but one question, Did ya put the crane on the back? or did they remove that from later versions? <I got out as they were entering service, all I know about them is the tankers rolled easy and were a PIA to recover>
-
Oh so since they can't do it, no one can? Klink, you keep on truckin' mano, don't listen to folks arount heah, waiting for OFP2 is kinda like waiting to open your Xmas presents.......... In June.
-
Hmm, Armored trains come to mind, <now where did I put those pictures?>
-
Been trying to make a script for my CEV to move to a location and create a "scrape", basically just a dirt berm piled up for a tank to get hulldown behind, but keep screwing up the placement <scripting is NOT something I do a lot> Will keep at it.

Nice one, could we have that in Axis and Allied colors plz?
-
Ah the PBY, the only plane in the world that flies, dives, and climbs at 80MPH A must have for the old addon folder.

You guys need to rent the movie <It was a 76mm, Oddball's boys slid a pipe over it the gun tube to make the Germans think it was a 90mm>
