Anybody have this one? some of my models seem to have the turret's rotation axis offset to a corner of the turret. Yes I've set Osa Veze in memory, and defined otoc hlavne and otocvez in the lod's. This doesn't occur in every model I build, but the thing is, moving Osa Veze to any location, even far outside the model, has no effect on the rotation axis. Anybody know what's going on here? I'd hate to have to scrap them and start over.

Turret is defined is config, Here's the problem again, with visual aid ____ | | ===| | |X | ------- Ingame, turret acts like Osa vez is in location marked in lower pic. Note; looking over the ones that have the problem, they all contain non-planar faces, might that be it?

Thought of that, checked it 4 times, even renamed and moved them, no dice. For some reason it seems to pick a corner of the structure defined in OtocVeze as the center point, don't know why, thought it might be from building the model offecenter in O2, but others I have done don't have this issue, strange. <and very frustrating, the number of affected models has grown to 5 and I STILL can't figure out what's making it happen> ARRRGH!

Family comes first man FYI all: Bratty's plane tug may be from WWII, but they are still in use the world over, the US Army still uses them.

Given the map sizes, unless you want to make maps with reduced landmass, there isn't really enough water to make ships over cruiser size usefull. For shore bombardment, ships wouldn't have to move, neither would they for boarding combat, as you really wouldn't notice the ships motion while in a firefight on the deck anyway.

Starting with Dien Bien Phu, would make a rather short Campaign, as that was the last death agony of French alliance forces in Indochina. Considering OFP's liking of small unit actions, I'd go with Groupment De Mobile's, <GDM100 is the French guys getting wiped out in the opening of "we were Soldiers> not all of them suffered as badly as that, and they had some success's. By the time of Dien Bien Phu, the French were on the ropes so to speak, besides, that battle was a long drawn out siege action ending in a mass overrun, not something I'd like to play out personally

They are aircraft carrier deck crew, the different colors indicate different jobs, <plane handlers,fuelers,armament, etc>

Well, I can send you something to look at if you want, but 1) either you need INV1944 demo installed or I need to redo the .cpp to use stock troops. 2) You have to understand that it isn't for release, isn't intended for release, and shouldn't be released <basically it uses things from other folks, and I don't even want to get into that kind of row. So lemme know if you want to take a look.

T2000 is not acceptable as a standard, too many "step downs" to make it playalbe from an RPG standpoint. As a "config kiddie" <yeah right son, I'm older than your daddy> I change things to suit my needs, will I release them? probably not, no need if my needs are met. You will never get a standard, even trying to create one makes more problems than it solves. Though I would like it if Webhosts could tags addons with a warning message like, oh, "warning! incredible nationalistic bias present in this addon, do not expect anything close to reality from this mod"

Hmm tried plugging the old M110 howitzer into your scripts, shows ingame, but FO gets no target plotting commands, Q. Are the params scripts limited by shell size or type? <no worries, I'm not planning to steal your work, just doing this for my own amusement>

Unless it's already in a finished state, <in which case disregard> Gordak, tiny quibble with the M48, the commanders MG mount, the coupla front should be 3/4 that size and more rounded, again, not a big thing, if you don't want to change it it wouldn't bother me, the rest of her looks fine.

Let them fix it? Yeah good idea, the 2000 armor value was simply an error, they didn't really intend to make the thing indestructable out of national pride or something I've taken apart many addons, mostly to adjust them to be compatible with other addons. I've also, like dharbert, had to go in to fix .cpp errors just to get things to work right. I find nothing wrong with his points, or fixing it yourself, not like I slap my name on it and release it.

Definitely need new anims if you do, <I've tried making small figures when attempting to make "werewolves" (Hitler Youth), the default anims distort the figures movements if your model is under about 5' 2">

Or maybe you just RAISE the seat? <jeez some real military hardware knowledge goin' down heah> BTW, I was in the Army, I'm 5'7, I had a buddy was 4' 11.2", He never moved the seat in the track when relieving me, 'course he didn't have to hunch his neck to sight the Ma Duece either.

Umm the BMW came nearly a year before the Ural did, so I really don't think he did much "stealing" from a non-existant addon.
