Note: humor sometimes doesn't translate PSC, to be clear, the buildings are about 1/2 the size they should be, It's a minor thing, only noticable when you park a vehicle in them <An SA-13 should just barely fit, the others should fit quite easily> Don't waste the holidays worrying about it, for chrissake go have some eggnog P.S. An idea to make the repair version easier to ID, "junk it up" have boxes, cables, gear jumbled on top. When I was in recovery, we could spot another recovery team M113 in a tank park full of M113's just by the incredible amount of junk lashed to the top

Well it sorta walks, <in a night-of-the-living-dead,lurching sorta way> As for riding it, I used the soldier class for the prelim anims, so no riders Only way I see riders happening is using a vehicle class, but that would require making the walking anims into .rtms, messy

The AAAV is not that hot folks, Take a good look in game terms without all that sales pitch hype, It's a bradley that swims better, has a larger target shape, and <most important to FMC> costs twice as much. Go ahead and make one if you must, but only a Maaa-Reen would consider it an improvement Oh and on the subject of ATGM ROF BMP vis a vis M2, well the BMP could have a better ROF than the Bradley, but Russian designers didn't think a 2 tube launcher was that important <not that it is IRL, any brad that stayed in position after firing 1 missile deserves to have his ass handed to him>

Lay off, he expressed his views in a civil manner, and I get his point <doesn't bother me personally, I'm used to crowded interiors> Please scale up the barracks buildings, yes it's Xmas, but I don't think Santa's elves have any military facilities <I might be mistaken on that>

Medium range AA for the Nato side would be Hawk, IHawk, Roland, Rapier and the Chapperal <m730> Tracked Roland would be a good call, as it's a box launcher on a modified M113 chassis <M730 also uses a M113 chassis, but the exposed missiles make it problematic, I have a rough one working now, and it just ain't pretty>

Don't know how they do it over there, but the little yellow people were very adept at making our unexploded bombs into anti-vehicle command detonated mines.

Hmm, so far using a human figure, Bent 90 at waist, shortened fingers <full extant of model changes in O2 at this point> tagged all limbs and animated legs as a left leg, arms as a right leg, result was very crude and very ugly, but inspiring, horses are doable, maybe never perfect, but doable. As far as M72 and prone, well you got more practice I suppose, we tended not to get adventurous, getting from breakfast to lunch was enough of a challenge in our situation. Y'all get lotsa presents Ah hope, <My wife gave me another 10 reference books, including Janes Small Arms of the world>

Very, the MT-LB was new issue in the Red army at the time the Viet Nam war ended, So it's doubtful any actually saw use in PAVN <People's Army of Viet Nam> colors. Wait for them to finish their PT-76, The NVA had quite a few of those.

USMC, Helicopter mounted M60's are the M60D configuration, which is a butterfly grip like the M2's, takes about 3 minutes to convert a regular M60 to a D. Just FYI <former UH-1 crewchief>

AT4 is after my time so I'll take your word for it, M72A2, no way, yes the "book" says you can, but pure experience says don't.
-
Sweeeet, You guys are top shelf, no doubt <cheerfully deleting my Sa13 bmp stand-in>

Whoa kids check your target, I never said anything to Suma, my comments were to Select this and in response to his. You don't like what I said? tough, your dislike doesn't make it less relevant. As far as the young man with the foul fingers, ya type tough, can ya back it up boyo?
-
Impressive work <Maya owners please shut up, we're glad you have wealth, this is for the rest of us> Note, no one actually make a LAAW gunner firing from prone position, THEY DON'T, EVER

Is it possible to set an animation to rotate an object and release it? I've been studying the problem without getting too deep into it, but in the interests of timesaving, has anyone tried this already?
-
Ok, to clarify, I need to move an object forward and down <from on top of vehicle to on the ground, like the BIS scud does> and then let go of it. The scud does that, but I'm not sure if that was heavily scripted or if the animations exist.

Nice sentiment, but coming from 6 years of modding planes for Microsoft's Flight sims, I hate to say it, but it ain't so, Joe, Disagree with me all you wish, again the onus of the disagreement resides with you.
-
Backed by solid evidence <finally someone gets it> I concede the point, good show all. Selectthis, If you make it the onus is on you, way it is, I don't have to prove a ford is reliable, ford does.

Before you go running off with ideas, no SF groups operated "out of country" The beanie boys were a new outfit back then, in an army that wasn't sure it wanted them, but had a president force the creation, The inside history of the goings on at MACV-SOG would make a great novel, if anyone could get clearance to write it.
-
KevBaz, interesting, source?
-
Think outside the box, most active operations outside the MACV area were not conducted by regular military forces. Thus, force composition, in fact the exact details of many of these missions is unknown. What is known? Air America was real Shadow Company was real, <whether or not they operated as described is still a matter of conjecture> US Navy Seals carried out missions around Haiphong harbor, which is as North as you can get without learning Manderin. Knock yourself out Sing Loi

Araon, nice try mate, However considering that 90% of musuem pieces are wearing incorrect paint jobs, <I worked at Aberdeen, I know that first hand> I'd rather you show DOCUMENTATION. Cheers, <It's still a nice bit of work>

Hell, y'all come to one o' this redneck's family gatherings with only a pistol, and you'll be feeling distinctly, umm, "underdressed"

First off note I said "if you have time on your hands make a BRDM2" so I did not whine about the camel. Now, news, There is a WWI mod http://members/lycos.nl/nomansland/ home of the SE5a and a fokker eindekker. Next, the official name is Sopwith F.1 "camel" being an unofficial nickname. 3rd minor carp, the colors are slighly wrong AFAIK no F.1 ever had a red cowling, only Sopwith Pups from 2nd Aero RFC used a red nose.

These guys are perfectionists, and are working on other projects as well, so give them time. Personally, there are missing units that are more desired than yet another Humvee <why you civvies are so enthralled with that POS is beyond me>
-
Wonder what the guys at the noman's land mod think of BIS stealing their thunder? Hey BIS, if you got time on your hands, how's about a BRDM 2?
