well what i mean is that they should focus on the special operation aspect of the team. I would want to have the option if i get the chance to do high command if i choose to do so. And if i dont i can only focus on my own team and let the AI handle high command.

I,m getting so tired of all the guessing. Why dont bis give us some more info on stuff like this. Seen the website which is fairly limited regarding info and seen all the clips on youtube. Comeon give us something solid. -

Yeah i hear ya. I understand that bis is trying to hype the game by not hyping so much. But in my opinion this really works the other way around. It will only result in urban myths and lots of other bs and people will post all kinds of useless stuff in the forums that in turn get locked in a blink of an eye. Why dont they start for example a Q&A in the forum and when time is there some questions can be awnsered. For most games i follow so late in the development state i normally am oversaturated with info and get a fairly good idea of what its all about and what to expect. Not so for arma2 . And why is this nessecairy. Its not like they are working on some top secret program ? -

I remember in OFP, in the mission where you loose your buddies and are left alone on the woods, I would lay low in the bushes and stand still. An entire patrol managed to pass by and miss me. This is the only example i can remember, but hey,I don't play OFP for years now and I never played Armed Assault. But it worked fine... although im sure its not perfect. Yes that's correct (I also remember similar situations in OFP) but the problem is that in OFP situations like you described happend quite frequently while the same situations are simply NOT POSSIBLE in ArmA (the AIs will always see you in those situations). Besides, the AIs seeing you thru vegetation is definitly NOT a urban myth and the proof is that there is a mod called "Durgs Vegetation" (or "Vegetation Fix") which fixes the AIs seeing thru vegetation (by improving the AI-blocking view in the diferent kind of vegetation) and this question in the interview was asked because the fact that the AIs sees thru vegetation is a well know issue among ArmA players. Honestly, I'm also worried about the fact that BIS devs don't admit there's a problem with AIs seeing thru vegetation in ArmA... Not quite related I guess, but a similar issue is that in OFP you could sneak (stealthy) into an enemy base, killing a few guards with silenced guns without alerting the base but in ArmA this is simply NOT possible because once you kill a guard (even if there aren't any other enemy guards nearby) with a silenced gun the entire base is instantly put on alert. Yep you are right. I tested this so called urban myth in arma. I hid deep in the forest behind bushed on my 12 , 3 and 9 o clock. I let an infantry squad pass my posisiton while in safe mode. And everytime they spotted me even though i remained complety silent and still. They spot me every time. Even though i,m deep in the woods in bushes and in teh shade. Guess this myth aint busted yet. I also hope they fix the stealth base infiltration . How are we gonna be covert with team razor if we get made in these situations. -
What all this bs about the freakin consoles. Please be aware if you want to play realistic simulations and games like arma2 but a pc and keep the arcade stuff for consoles .

commanding a lot of forces is really cool for missions other then the campaign i think. I saw in the german gameplay footage that in the end of the campaign you have to command a lot more forces then team razor. What if i just want to command my own team? Special forces never command mass forces on the battlefield

What´s the point of bringing your personal wishes for ingame footage into different threads ? I´, sure there will be ingame videos, and I´m sure they will answer some of your demands. It´s BIS part to decide if, when, why and what. Leave it this way. Whats the point of bis to leave us so much into the dark regarding all the features. Sure the features are to some extent explained on the website but thats something different then actually seeing it in some footage. Its not my fault i,m dieing for some concrete info on the game that bis failes to effectivly hype so close to the release. If the feedback is minimal then you can expect people to post all kinds of stuff on the forum withou checking the search button. -

A real good way to bust the clutter myth is for the devs to show stuff in a new gameplay clip. They should feature all the new stuff and kill the myths. For example there is really a shortage of info on team razor itself. Only on the website and presskit there is some scarse info on team razor and the team razor game play clip i have seen about 50 times and doesnt give away to much info. I would love to post a new topic about a new gameplay clip but i will get locked down anyway so whats point. -

Well my machine should handle arma2 without a problem. Interesting read but i can only say one thing. Give us a some new gameplay footage preferably featuring some more team razor stuff. -

Yeah i really think its time for the devs now to get something like that on the website now. I mean it cant be to long before the game goes gold. As much as i like what they did with the different factions giving you an idea what the story is all about they really dont give away much about the actual gameplay. -

I REALLY REALLY hope they release some new gameplay footage. Sure all the faction movies where cool. But i really wanna see the game shining in campaign mode now and see all the new features. -
So now that we,ve seen all the faction video,s i what do you think is next? In game footage? Maybe release?

The AI is my biggest worry as well. Ive yet to see a single example of how much the AI has improved over arma1. Just dont hope this will be another eyecandy game like arma1 with hugely dissapointing gameplay. But if the Ai and gameplay do suck major ass, Then bohemia really should consider making 90 mins computer scenery movies. -
They could be usefull for a mission in the campaign. For example team razor needs to destroy the EWR for example to clear the sky for friendly air units and there own extraction.

Searched the forums but couldnt find anything about this. Will the campaign be longer then in arma? Because the campaign was pretty short and the story did suck major ass. It was like playing some 10 year old toy soldiers game in 3-d or something. I,m pretty confident that this time it will be more mature but i hope it will be much longer then arma was.

Yeah like someone else mentioned that when your really close and you press the fire button you charakter automaticly switches to hand to hand. -

Will there be water bourne operations like infilltrations with a zodiak? I mean team razor are after all marines.

type of missions i would like to see in campaign. 1 retreval of vip in conflict envirement. Think ala tears of the sun . Your team has to extract a vip . 2 direct action 3 search and destroy. Destroy key members or other enemy forces 4 combat search and rescue. extract downed pilots or other allied personel behind enemy lines 5 forward observer / guiding laser guided bombs to the target 6 deep recon. 7 extracting civilian personel from a certain area to prevent genocide 8 bomb damage essement 9 hostage rescue 10 collecting valuble enemy documents 11 harrasing enemy forces 12 sabotage missions

Really this worries me. Also i hope there will be a lot more action in the firefight. In arma i just wasent impressed also because of the sounds. I want to be totally blown away by the confusion and sounds of a heavy rifefight like in brother ins arma hell highway were i really got a kick out of fighting the germans never had that with arma.
