How do i get Far Revive to work in mission editor?

Hello folks, I,m working on a seal team mission in vietnam. I downloaded Far rivive but i cant seem to make it work. In he read me it simply says ; Copy FAR_Revive folder into your mission folder. Add this to the top of your init.sqf: call compileFinal preprocessFileLineNumbers "FAR_revive\FAR_revive_init.sqf"; But in the init.sqf that came with the download the line is allready included . but i cant seem to make it work for some reason. -
question on how to make mission fail when a civilian is killed & how to make a task to bring civilian into trigger area and succed mission.

First of all thanks for helping out. Tried out the missionfail on the taxcollector? (he,s calles Tax1 in my editor) but when i waste him nothing happens when i pop the gook. I also get a error message in the editor that says error alive:type group expected object. -
Hi there folks. I,m currently workin on some missions based on the 1993 Electronic arts game val Seal Team. I,m using the Unsung mod to do this. Basicly your seal team has to snatch a vc tax collecter and blow up a weapons cache and bring in the VC tax collector back to base to complete the mission. I got the ammo caches part covered and have been able to make the vc tax collector join my group (by making him a civilian) But i get get my head around 2 little things to wrap it up. I want it so that if the tax collector gets killed that you fail the mission. Also i made a objective that you have to bring him into a base to finish the mission succesfully. So basicly how do i set it up that when the civilian dies you fail the mission? And how do i tie in the the task that when i bring in the civilian make the objective complete and finish the mission succesfully?

I,m having missing sound effects errors when starting a mission with caf agressors . And in game they dont have sounds for the ak-47,s . Anyone know how to fix this? I installed in the correct order.

I,ve been playing the seal team 6 campaign and other campaigns and missions i downloaded from armaholic. I can play the missions but i cannot load a save game because then i get the message you cannot play/edit this missioin because it depends on downloadable content that has been deleted acex_s_veh-mah6. My ace is up to date and i have all the addons required to play the campaigns that i downloaded . Does anybody else have this problem? Without the save games it is impossible to finish any meaningfull missions (esspecialy spec ops missions) because of the stupid AI.

He does have a point , I find the steal the uniform option kind of misplaced in a sim like Arma , Also it just feels unrealistic and james bondish. I,m just fearing the Rambo styled i,m gonna steel a uniform and take on the whole enemy army kind of approach. It just leaves a bad arcadish taste in my mouth.. I never liked the single operative ops in the origninal operation flashpoint and Arma I and this is what the uniform option remind me off..

Best mod so far in my opnion. Hell i got bitten by a freaken snake today while on patrol!!! Couple of things that i think need changing * Vietcong has x-ray vision. So when in fire fights i must rely on my AI teammembers. But many times i am shot by an enemy that should never have seen me from so far away in the dense jungle. * I placed 3 missions in the mission folder but only 2 show up. * the m-60 and m-48 tanks still have the m1a1 turbine engine sound. * the m-60 and m-48 tanks still have a stabelized main gun. While the m-60 did later have a stabilzed gun , it did not in the vietnam war. * The map still has the chenerus sounds mixed in with the jungle sounds. Jungle sounds could be a little more varied in my opinion. * i would like to see a little more rivers (not to deep so the not to loose gear or either find a way to get rid of loosing gear in water) ---------- Post added at 01:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 PM ---------- Dont know about punjis , havinet seen them yet. But i lost 4 guys on 2 occations due to trip wire,s. First time i thought we were being engaged by an rpg. One hint in the low lands mission. Try to stay off any paths. But still its no garentee. -

will we have some cool jungle sound for in the jungle? I saw the a preview video and the jungle sounds seems to be way repetitive. -
I would stick with the Seal campaigns. Seal operations just offer an almost infinate number of realistic scenarios and the operations are mostly on a smallers scale. What i would like to see in the future though is a seal campaign on a jungle or tropical map. I mean they are trained for all climates afterall.

I have the same problem but the line has ACE 2 in it. And i do have the latest version of the mercenarie addon installed.

I dont know where kelly,s heroes is located so i dont know if its close to me I myself am located in the Netherlands. - Its not the popups that bother me that much. First of all when i opden addonsync i click check for addons this can take more the 10 minutes !! Then when its done i click download addons and then addonsync asks me if i wish to open the program twice . I must otherwise i have to go through the whole process again because the programs will shut down when i click no Then i must click check for downloads and download addons again and the process takes another 10 minutes. - then it downloads some addons untill it needs stops and when i check the status is says downloading addon , operation has timed out , md5 etc etc. making downloading even 40 mb extemely frustrating and sometimes it can take all day! - also if addonsync even completes the whole operation it crashes but even thought the progress bar says its not done all the downloads needed to play on-line are done nontheless. I check the window for all the downloads to be ok to make sure. - the strange thing is that addonsync wants me to open the programs twice before i can even start downloading anything. -

,m having problems with Arma addon sync. When i click fabourite servers and download from kelly,s hero,s to update ace and click download addons (after i checked for addons , the programs say if i want to open the program again? If i click no the program stops if i press yes the program is then opened another time. Only then i can download the addons. But this can take a whole day and needs babysitting as well because i must sometimes press yes before downloading certain stuff. I have a very fast internet connection and pc so that cannot be the problem. all goes fast but with some things the status says its downloading a certain file. Sometimes the status says the program is timed out or that the files is being used by another program (the other addonsync running i think. This makes updating my ace2 a very annoying and time consuming job . Even when downloading 40 or 80 mb. I tried downloading later versions of the addonsync but this doesnt make a differance. I once took me over 12 hours to download only 120 mb. Even if i update every single day it takes the majorety of the day to do so. Can someone help me out with this? -
Here is what i do. i use ACE . When i take a sniper rifle and a nite bino to measure presize range. Than i bring up the range card with shift-v and enter the range and windage. But it ALLWAYS fals short somehow. I dont understand what i,m doing wrong. Can someone help?

Tried the mission but it said its missing a island panthera file. Strange thing is i double double checked everything and i,ve done many missions on panthera. I updated to be sure but it was not nessecairy. Checked the mod folder and everything is there.

This is truly a masterpeace campaign. Esspecialy with ace addons. Its realistic and there where moments where i had nail bitting experiences. One thing though. After operation silent eye (the sniper mission) i get the infamous ctd followed by invalid crew member civilian message. That sucks because i,m hooked on this one for sure. It must be ace but lets face it its not as cool without ace. Anyway i hope there is more where that came from? -

I get a ctd when starting the mission. Then it says invalid crewmember civilian. -

I searched but i could not find anything usefull regarding my question. During online play i often hear players play custom music or sound ingame like small sound samples from full metal jacket or other custom sounds etc etc. How is this done?

I have teamspeak and ventrello and they work just fine untill i,m actually in-game . Then when i use the microphone i am not heard.. if i go back to desktop and press the button to communicate it works fine again. I tried downloading ventrello and i had the exact same problem.. I heard somebody say its because of vista but the other guy playing also had vista and ventrello and didnt have single problem whatsoever. Whats causing this? I find this extremely annoyting since it prevents me from communicate on an effective level .

I,m working on a campaign and want it to work like the razor campaing insted of releaseing the missions individually. How it this done? I,ve seen it on the seal team six campaign and made me wonder how is this done?
