Hey chaps/chappettes, as the title asks really. Is this a description.ext problem or something else entirely? I've looked through a few missions I created ages ago using ArmA 2 for the answer but I'm completely oblivious as to why, when everything seems in order, units that should display the name given to them using setIdentity suddenly cease to work when loaded in OA. Cheers for any help guys. -

Yeah, fuck the addons for a while mate, some people don't seem to realise that there's this big bad thing out there called 'real life' and it has to take priority 99% of the time. I've just split up with my missus after 6 years and to be honest, it's fucked me up big time. It puts a lot of insignificant stuff into perspective. Anyway, chin up fella, one day at a time. -

Hi Vostov. I'm not sure of the command to prevent a unit from going into a certain stance but you can force them into positions using the following commands; this setunitpos "middle" to force a unit to kneel. this setunitpos "up" to force a unit to stand. or this setunitpos "down" for prone. Don't know if this helps. -

You can create as many groups as you like (within reason) using just the one sqf. I would recommend naming your groups to prevent any confusion as to which is which though. -

Hi victim913. To answer your question; Open your wordpad etc. document, Go to 'File', 'Save As', Change 'Save as type' to 'All Files' Save your document as whatever you like but add .sqf to the end of your filename. Simple, eh? : P -

No worries. As far as I know there is no way to change a players stance without using animations. Any unit not under player control can of course be forced to stand, crouch and go prone with the 'setunitpos' command but this will not work on player units. -

Hi all, sorry for the noob question but I've searched through the forums and can't seem to work it out. I'm making a helo mission with two player controlled pilots and I'd like to be able to permanently restrict them from disembarking/ejecting if possible. It will break some of the mission I had planned if not. Cheers for any help. -
Effin awesome units dudes, muchas gracias for them. One teency weency problem though - I get Russian voices with the SFSG guys. Didn't check if it was all of them or just a particular unit. Thought I'd mention it.

jasonnoguchi, I think I've found what is causing the error you've been getting. I'm guessing you've got Robert Hammers helo sounds installed? I was having the same error as you and after going through all my addons and other stuff and removing them one by one I finally worked out that that was causing it (for me at least). Not sure if it is the addon itself or a config problem that may be present in other addons as well.

Hey Sander, awesome units as always. I'm still getting a config error though, something along the lines of: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgFactionClasses/RCIR_CDF_SPECNAZ.priority'. Nobody else has reported it yet so maybe it's just me?
