    so to put this in perspective am i right in saying that. something happened between you and 3lions of the rm clan ,that led to your "amusing" speedo on your latest release. and then he seemingly returned the compliment by putting your old ofp lannies in a video . http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=67467&page=2 and because of this people are now to believe the whole community are a bunch of theiving bastards and not worthy of your addons ? I`ll tell you what, get out of your pram ,pick up your dummies and carry on, there is nothing to be benefitted from this desicion you have made, I for one know that your team have done worse than shown someone elses material in a video , some media you have released goes way beyond that. People in glass houses should not throw stones. whilst i respect IP and your right to stop people using it. i do not respect the fact you have painted yourselves whiter than white and tried to Paint the whole community almost as direspectful. Grow up and make addons or go exclusive but either way dont tarnish this community just because your fun and games have finally backfired.

Hi , whilst i understand there are many reasons for this, i have yet to see answer other than re config all buildings of Bis in own island config to get both addons from CA and own from P\. when we set up visitor we are asked to set parameters. texture folder and objects folder . in order to get ladders working it is necessary to say folder of objects = CA\ but once we do this and then we want to add our custom building ,we click tools \artificial objects \ then model oustide CA . we then get error this is not a valid path it is not in CA . without this CA in the folder objects , its not possible to get 100% ladders doors etc. Now i know there is 100 ways that people use and eventually people can get 80% working without using CA pbo prefix , but only 100 % working if they are not using BIS buildings at all. Unless they are re config in island cpp. cfgvehicles { redo config for buildings}. I would be very pleased because you seem very admant not to use CA namespace at all, if you can post here this method as it would save myself alot of time too. Synides method is very good for using either own or bis but not both. for both i have only ever suceeded with map custom addons inside ca along with all bis configs in ca\ relevantfolder. thanks.

    Very valid arguments from all sides , but maybe i can give you a few parameters to complete your debate. there wont be any ragdoll in Arma2 because there is not even enough cpu time left for community scripters to run per frame checks in the free boundaries they had in ofp and arma . read "in order to maintain smooth frame rate in real-time content, time limit for all scripts in each frame is enforced by the engine in ArmA 2. Generally speaking, in case of more demanding scripts, be prepared that their result may come way later and also there probably can suffer from significant latency. It is under evaluation if and how possibly allow user scripts to change how much time they may take from the CPU in every frame." so there will have to be some massive dev in the next two months if we are to even have DAC ,mando missiles Spon_ etc in arma2 never mind space for ragdolls. and on the other side if we negate the above statement , Ragdoll can be local , but you would have to forget any permanent identity of the body , so no taking cover behind it , unless your happy for bis to set a rule of where body falls it will be set in a pre determined final pos with geo added on all clients ,but that just wouldnt be right.

Buildings from bis that you use must be in p\CA\buildings = p3ds model.cfg and config.cpp island = P\CA\floosy = pew(especially when working in visitor and wrp when finished). data etc etc config.cpp for floosy must have Required addon { whatever you have used from CA folder CAData CABuildings etc.} PBO prefix for floosy Island must be CA\floosy. Any building that is used that is not from BIS must either placed in CA folder like and its PBO prefix CA\name of folder (this is done auto by Binpbo btw). this must also be included in floosy island config requires addons = ( name of the non bis addons). the only time you work outside the Ca folder is when you are not using any BIS material.

    owned @ me the map in my link is from the dem of kabul or a video here (not realistic mission but the dem is )here because you didnt play them they didnt exist ?, what is this attitude with you, because you didnt know about or havent heard it never happened ,is it vbs or being part of a "studio" that creates this arrogance ? so there is no missions to be had around this scenario ? no recon ,inteligence gathering , no nothing ? @ bals i was answering this question before you stepped in and told me to join the army. so pls dont try to make me look like i am representing anybody,and if your saying these mods did not try to replicate anything well, what can i say. what are you talking about ? google a map of kabul , thats what the map is and look where bagrami is .

    excuse the pun i think you cant see the trees for the woods , have you played ofp or just made trees ? very nice trees i admit. your comments defy belief every one of them are based in the country and towns and include authentic soldiers from that era. i have played for 4 years and 80% of the maps in co op have been factual based events using realistic addons and islands . if you have any doubt pls look here this is where i have played in the last 2 months, with some fine maps bases on real battles I wont direct you to the offtopic middle east and us politics thread ,you know where they are, if you want to debate realism mods ,then lets continue ,but if you want to talk politics ,pls try the former .

    in some way you are correct ,because vbs and ofp elite are arma so yes maybe 2003 or so. but arma pc game was anounced in E32005. OFP2 which is maybe what your thinking of in 2002 ? which is here
