  1. It happens after a while of playing, I have to restart my computer. Basically the game freezes and has red smudges on the screen very misty mild red. My specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2GB Crucial DDR2-800 BFG 8800GT OC2 (169.13) Windows XP Home ArmA 1.08

    Ahh yes that is possible, I contacted BFG a while ago about general freeze ups in games, they told me to do a BIOS flash update, that solved it for most games, obviously not this

    Since installing this I cannot play MP, click to join server, error comes up the usual Send Report/Don't then back to desktop.

    I have a 8800GT and after a while it freezes along with either the screen going fuzzy or little line at top goes fuzzy, I have to restart computer, also had an error box come up telling me to reboot and that nv4_disp.dll (something like that) has failed.

    Mission 3 problem

    I get in the truck, drive to the destination were Bravo is, they don't get in the truck so I cannot complete the mission. Is there any way of getting around this or fixing it?

    We have realistic games such as: Americas Army Armed Assault Operation Flashpoint We have games based more on gameplay than realism: Counter-Strike BF series None, imo, have had a good balance of both, people complain realistic games take too much time and when you get killed you have to walk a heck of a long time again and the realism nuts complain they are too 'noobie'. I have seen many mods that make ArmA multiplayer very good, I want it to go one step further. My point in all this post is; is it possible to a combination Armed Assault and Battlefield? Have the capture points and massive maps, each little village has a flag, fight over the whole map, towns have vehicles etc. What do you think of my idea?

  16. I click on the shortcut, runs the intro stuff then goes to receiving... screen then crashes to desktop with the normal, send or dont send buttons. I'm on German 1.02 Can anyone help?

    I'm currently making all my tanks have realistic armor stats compared to each other, for example: Armor=(Real RHAe value) Hit=(Real RHAe value) Cost=<Can someone tell me what this means?> How can I make it so that if the damage received from another tank is less than that of the armour, no damage is done since it didn't penetrate it? Could it be done with a simple if script? Like this:?
  21. I've seen other mods, BWMOD especially that some missiles have ranges of 8000m but the standard built-in vehicle radar barely reaches 1500m, can a script extend the radars power? This would also help with the already limited view distance.

    Ok the AI picks up the enemy plane at about 10km but it only comes on IR, VERY weak, at about 6.5km, how can I make the IR screen stronger? Also what settings hogs the most power because with 5000m view distance on it makes it a bit laggy.

    Whats the Unit/Meter ratio so I can set it to real stats? I assume their not metres because the SA-8 Gecko's RangeMax is 15000 and it doesn't see very far. Its supposed to be OFP metres. It just takes some adjusting to get an accurate distance. The sensitivity is the critical thing it seems. The higher the sensitivity the better It also depends on the ground in front of the unit. AI cannot always see through the hills! So place your radar either on open flat ground or high up. BUT you have to remember that the AI and the radar is affected by the view distance you set in game so the actual detection distance will vary! So if you set a 1k view distance the Ai Radar may only see 3km. Set the view distance to 5km and it may see 10km. There is no magic figure; it simply depends on your scenarios. Does that affect me as well? I was hoping since my view distance is about 4000m so I could use the IR to pick up stuff up at 15000m and destroy it with a missile. So does that mean I am limited to 2xView Distance as well? How many OFP meters = Real Meters?
