    Computer Reboots it self..

I know how frustrating it can be. I work with software all day long for a large electronics company doing electronic design and I can't tell you how many time I've cursed software crashes and bugs. I'll be dealing with a software bug tomorrow, and I use some of the most expensive systems money can buy, backed by a team of computer experts. I'm having the same exact thing, and I also have an Intel 3Ghz at home. Funny, It runs great playing Stalker or Ghost Recon or Farcry or, well you get the picture. This game still has some kinks to work out. As it stands now, it's unplayable on my system. I know from Op-flashpoint that BIS is excellent about releasing patches. Adding a nuclear powered refridgeration system to your computer is not going to help it play any better. Just update video card driver, sound card (if any) defrag and wait for the patches. I know from Op-flashpoint that BIS is excellent about releasing patches. Oh and for cleaning my home system, I use an air pump that blows the dust out of it. Looks like a dust storm.

    Random Crashing

I had to register just to chime in on this problem. I have played OFP since the beginning, have all the updates and patches up to 1.96 After upgrading to xp and patching to 1.96 I have experienced the Sound Blaster Live, blue screen, crash to desktop error. I even got the latest driver from Creative. The error gives slightly different messages depending on the way it crashed, sometimes say less_or_equal_not_found or mm_pool_error, or check your video drivers or something along those lines. It shows up during heavy sound activity. (helicopters, shilkas)I tried monkeying around with all the settings, no good. Snap, crackle and pop. Its just the way Flashpoint interacts with the sound card. I guess its time for an upgrade. People seem to be happy with the Audigy series. I have a p4 3ghz, 5900fx, 1g ram, sound blater live
