LOL at the Tunnels Of Doom screenie. I remember playing some sort of spy adventure game, that was crap, except it had a voice simulator built in. Can anybody remember this? What was the game... It pronounced Mr.Jones as Em Are Jones, I'll never forget that.

Those are tracers. You can turn them off in your options. In order to use the new weapons, you have to play a mission that includes them. Check some of the fansites for missions to play, or join a server through ASE, if you did download that... Load up the Mission Editor and have fun. Place yourself as different kinds of soldiers to get to know the weapons and vehicles...

B.t.w. I'd like to be the first to welcome Charlie_McSweeney, Mora2 and SirLagsalot to the OffTopic section of the official Operation Flashpoint Forum. Your timing gentlemen, has been impeccable.

You have to run the .exe file. If it did not do that automatically, find the extracted file and doubleckick it (make sure you have the Operation Flashpoint cd in you cd'rom drive), a box should come up saying "Upgrading to version 1.30". It doesn't take long. The Mission Editor is a really nice toy, that wont fuck up your game in any way. You can use it to make your own missions, play around with the weapons and units, and last but not least: Sightseeing! Open up Mission Editor, start a new map on any island you prefer (Deert Island is not so interesting ) place a unit soldier and an empty chopper or HMVVV or whatever. Hit Preveiw and you'r free to look around the beautiful island of your choice. If you do as Wiggum says, and set it to Advanced, you can change the timeof day, weather conditions etc.

Hehe, Stealt. Are you sure 21VB is that much better? Some of the WKK boys are really good. Anyway, I play with the CiA. They're a good clan, as WKKGimbal will tell you. (They beat the WKK ) I think the most fun is playing Co-op with guys who know what they're doing, and fulfill their role in the squad. I don't like the big ctf or dm's much. 10 people or so is perfect for me.

Halle Berry is just so f*cking beautiful...I haven't seen the film she won the Oscar for, so I don't know about her acting in that one. I remember her from the good old days, when she appeared out of nowhere in the otherwise lousy "Boomerang". ...anyway, the Oscars have lost their credibility to me. Gladiator, best movie in 2000? Crap!
