Damn you're good I thought that it would be a difficult one It's all a matter of elimination . It's not a MiG-9 or a Yak-23, which look similar, the only US plane like it was the X-5, not a production model, so I decided to see if Sweden had a fighter of similar configuration, seeing as your'e swedish . All it took was a search for "early Saab jets". Ok, try this now: he 162 salamander "freedom fighter"

McDonald Douglas continued the design and the British bought it off of them. the GR.7 is a upgrade to the GR.5, which is a McDonald Douglas design. COLINMAN wede already had the sea harrier mk1 the gr1 and the gr3 before that

he probably goes by many names i know him as VIT
-
they origanalaly ordered 40 from hawker, (not sure if it was BAe then) and they wrecked a few of um in a couple of months (well maybee more then a few ) when they aquired a licence they called it the AV8b its true at that the yanks did not say too the american population that it was bought under licences from us
-
RAF dont use the gazelle anymore and if i remember rightly the army have retired them or in the process of doing so
-

COLINMAN you did quite an accurate discription of the sea harrier there j/k well it is a gr7 Gr.7 is the british version of the AV8B, but it does have the extra pylon infront of the outriggers for the Sidewinder and I missed that in the pic. Sea Harrier has the bubble cananpy, but it doesn't use larger wing with LERX. It also has the blue fox (?) radar that lets it use AMRAMMS as well. COLINMAN correction AV8b is the american version of the harrier, not the other way around the americans only called it the AV8b too save face and not make it look like they bought it off us
