Hi all, I've made 4 new replacements files . These replacements change standard USMC units and Force Recon models with the ones present in my US Army Rangers and US Army Special Forces (both REQUIRED) packs. I've done these replacements on request , and I've decided to use both my US units in order improve a little the variety, and give the feeling to have US Rangers units supporting and operating with US Special forces. You'll find 4 different replacements files, all with their own signature, just choose the camo of your preference and use it. !!! REMEMBER TO RUN ONLY ONE REPLACEMENT AT A TIME !!! Replacements Installation. Put the replacement file of your choice in the "mod folder" of your preference, all the USMC conventional units will be replaced by US Rangers models, while Force recon will be replaced by Special Forces models, both in your preferred camo. well ... first of all thanks a lot really :) BUT I think it's a bit too much ... I mean, I just took standard BI models and retextured , and reconfigured them to rapresent the addons you said above . I don't consider myself an addonmaker, I've just released a couple of addon I made for personal use, please don't misunderstand me... I'm really happy people like them and enjoy them ;) And I did not expect so much appreciation too :) , I just think Binkowski whith his MARSOC and US Army units, or SJB with his SAS units and Ardvarkdb (hope to write it correct :) ) with his SEAL units made great Spec Ops unit addons, just to tell some . So for the SEAL I relly advice you to go to Ardvarkdb ones http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=96954 cause they're really high quality ! I'll continue working on my unit's packs in order to get the best I can do, and maybe I'll try to learn somethigh about modelling, maybe when BI will release A2 Mlods . Anyway I REALLY APPRECIATE your kind word Predator , THANKS A LOT to You and to all the people that supported and helped me on those units packs !!! cheers massi

Hi Blushed, well I did not make a replacement for those units because they're just 2 models...and I thought It was pretty weird . I did a replacement for all the camos for my US Army Special Forces units instead, because they 've all the Force recon models (heavy assault rifleman and grenadier too) in all the different camo's just like my Rangers...so more variety ;) You can find them here : http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=94223 Anyway I think it's not a big deal doing replacements, so I can do replacement for US Army Rangers too ... if you like ;) cheers massi

just a question... is It possible to add this script to a unit ? I mean create an addon PBO, with the script suite inside, and a new "FAC" class unit, that can call in AC130 support in every map, also just placing the unit in the editor...so is not necessary to create a dedicated mix, it could be "ready to use". I don't know is just an idea... ;) cheers massi
