Just tried the game at a friends house. We had to tweak the graphics a bit to make it playable, but found a compromise at 1024*768 with normal settings. System is, 3500+, 1GB RAM, 7900. Great gameplay and atmosphere, chopper sound is a bit loud though. I like the new animations. Controls are fine in general although flying the chopper is like "lamp on a string", IYKWIM. Grass is awful, player can't see through it, AI can, that needs to be remedied somehow. But I like the game a lot and can't wait to get it myself. Wonder how it'll run on C2D, 2GB RAM, 7900GT. theeraserhead - everyone is entitled to their moral issues, including you of course. I just don't see any harm done here. It's not like the creators are praising the communist period. That's not my interpretation of it at least. To me, the FUR MOD, and OFP for that matter, is a chance to go behind the iron curtain in the 80's and play a different kind of war game. And one of the best I've ever played I might add. It's so very different from other games I've played immensely, like BF/BF Vietnam, COD, MOH:AA among others. If people are concerned about the communist aspect of the FUR MOD in particular, I can only suggest that they look elsewhere for their gaming needs. Good luck with contacting PC Gamer UK - the FFUR mod deserves to be played on a broad scale. Regarding the M60A1 Patton, I was playing the MP City Conflict map and noticed there seems to be an impact effect missing when firing M900 105 APFSDS shells - HEAT shells are working fine.
