Just a quick question for Parvus. Please do not take this the wrong way, I am simply trying to help. On this page you posted some really nice screens of an MH-47E flying over the Afghan Island and some troops were parachuting out of it. What bothered me was the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) patch at the bottom. Did you know that no unit in the Army has MH-47Es except the 160th SOAR? Also, the 101st Airborne does not parachute anymore, we were transformed into the Army's first air assault unit during Vietnam. I would like to know how many of you would like to see an OFP show using webcams and stuff. Basically we could get a small group of guys together who all have webcams and Ventrillo or Team Speak and discuss recent events. I think it would be fun and probably pretty funny. Your thoughts? Monty EDIT: Another option would be a radio show. I tried to put one together in the past but recieved little interest. It would be easy using Shoutcast. I play City Of Heroes and there is a Shoutcast station for the server I play on and it is quite successfull.

If you are playing with the BAS Delta/Rangers and you have one of the Blackhawks under your command you can call it in for an extraction. When you do this at night, you throw out an infra-red strobe. This strobe is not truely infra-red or it would only be visible under NVGs. However, it is a great feature. Can the strobe light be made as an addon itself. I see no reason why it couldn't be, but then again, I'm not an addon maker . It would be great for coops. @ Tigershark Thanks for the info. I will anxiously await the outcome. @ USSoldier11B I know in the four years that I have been in aviation, 3 of that in an air assault unit, we never used chem lights for marking anything like LZs. But, you're right that it certainly doesn't take much light to make a big light through NVGs. Thanks for the feedback everyone. Monty

The SOC site is under construction. You might not be able to find links for all of the BAS addons. However, they are very popular and can be found on pretty much any OFP site. Monty

LMTVs and FMTVs are all we use now. We have a ton of them down at our motorpool. I could go down there an take some pics if someone needs them. There are a bunch of different variations. We have flatbeds, ones with solid boxes on the back, ones with cranes on the back, I even saw one in the SF motorpool that had the roof cut off, hehe. There is a gunner position up top center. Can be mounted with MK19 and M2 for sure, not sure what else. Monty

I have a questions about the weapons. Are ALL of the MARPAT Russian weapons included? I am just trying to compile a list of weapon names and the magazines and I don't want to include anything that's not suposed to be there. Thanks, Monty

What's up everybody? I have a question about ammo crates and/or an armory. Is it possible to have a building or ammo crate that pops up a menu like in RTS so you can see what weapon you are choosing? For example, you are in your base and you have an armory, when you walk up to the building a menu pops up showing you the weapons you can choose from. You simply click on what you want and abracadabra, it's there for you. Any help is greatly appreciated. EXAMPLE PIC, BUT WITH WEAPONS AND NO PRICE OF COURSE Thanks, Monty
