Just to confirm that the release date has been moved back and to address this rumour of Codemasters being sold, it's all lies A mistake that was in MCV last week and will be corrected this week.

It's alphabetical too if any of you are going to E3, I'll be demoing OFP on Xbox if you'd like a looksee.

System specs aren't determined until nearer the end of the development process, where the code is optimised and a load of debug stuff is removed. I wouldn't even guess at the specs as of yet

Well we have been doing some work trying to get some IRC bots sorted, and have now finally got some. We have set a channel up on Quakenet called #flashpoint2 A few if us are there already so feel free to join in and idle. Talk to you soon mike

I thought I would start a clean new thread after the official announcement. But also answer some of those long awaited questions from the other 17 page thread. So let's watch with baited breath on the outcome of these posts.....

Well the rumours have been widespread about the possibility of a new Operation Flashpoint game. So the question is, is there or isn't there going to be a Flashpoint 2........wellll.....yes there is There I said it! You heard it here 1st (Officially anyway) Codemasters are again teaming up with Bohemia Interactive Studios and are in the process of developing the brand new gaming sequel for the PC. As of yet the location and time period of the new game are still being kept Top Secret. Well until E3 that is More news will follow and regular updates will be published in my monthly newsletter 'Codemasters Command Centre'.
