Thanks for all the advice. It's a new computer I just built, so once everything was installed I just updated all of it. I have downloaded so many codecs, and nothing seems to work. I'll keep at it though. I'm not familiar with DRM (Digital Rights Management) but no messages pop up. The video I'm trying to play is the consipricies mod trailer for OFP, as well as some random videos that show up on myspace.com for peoples profiles. Thanks again, hopefully this will give me some resolution.

I am having major problems with windows media player 10. I am currently running windows xp home edition completely updated. When I try playing videos it freezes up. I either have to ctrl alt delete out of it, or reboot. The only programs I have running are my razer mouse tray icon, and norton antivirus 2005. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is most frustrating. The microsoft support is a joke, and yes I already tried. I even tried calling them, and they wanted $35 to talk to a tech support guy...BS Anyways thanks in advance...

I guess I'll just have to find a Czech friend

I would think that any dedicated Israeli mod would have at least Arab "women" in it. I'm not too familiar with the Israeli military, but I know some special forces, or intelligence units dress like women when working in enemy territory, although I don’t think OFP would allow you to hide your weapons under the clothing. Just my two cents, not that it matters . Good luck to both of you. - Mr. Sert

Denoir, I don’t think that I am missing the point. Since your message was about as long as mine was. I will not quote your message in its entirety; I will just bring up a few points. “he was released because obviously he had no terrorist connections. Hence an innocent man was deprived of the basic rights that are given enemy combatants. And he wasn't even one.†The United States obviously feels this man is no longer a threat. However you and I do not know why he was held for a year at Guantanamo Bay. I’m sure that if you harbor, supply, and aid terrorists in anyway that would land you at Guantanamo Bay. This would also mean that you have terrorist connections. At the same time you may not be actively shooting at or bombing United States soldiers. He did have the basic rights given to enemy combatants; I will provide the links shortly. Unless you were living in Afghanistan at the time Mohammed was captured, or happen to be a close relative of Mohammed. You can not say with any validity that he was a non combatant. Just as I can not say that he was. With the same amount of validity that you have, in my humble opinion and from what I know he was. “Second, you can't have it both ways. How can you with a straight face have the prisoners at Guantanamo and then cry out in outrage when Iraqi television interviews US POWs. If you are bent on not respecting international laws such as the Geneva convention then you can't bloody well expect that your own soldiers will be treated accordingly.†I personally have never cried out in outrage that the faces of POW’s were shown on television. In the very least, that allowed the United States to verify that some Marines were still alive. As we all know by now, it also allowed family members to make identifications. The United States is keeping these detainees in accordance with the Geneva Convention, and international law. War is a horrible atrocity, and the United States upholds the Geneva Convention more so than any other nation we have ever gone to war with. I would pray that soldiers of the United States only be held with the same accountability that we hold combatants of other nations to. Feel free to show me information on how United States soldiers were treated during captivity in Afghanistan. Better yet since you brought up Iraq, we could discuss how Allied soldiers were treated there during the first gulf war, and Operation Enduring Freedom. “ 2) As a POW. As a captured enemy combatant the prisoner is guranteed certain rights by the Geneva convention. Among them the right to stay in contact with relatives etc through the Red Cross. The Guantanamo bay prisoners did not get these rights. These are the two possible options. The Guantanamo bay prisoners did not fall into the two categories as they are denied the rights of both. Hence it's illegal both internationally and a violation of your own constitution.†Please follow this link to the Red Cross website. http://www.redcross.org/news/in/intllaw/guantanamo1.html The title of this article is WHY THE RED CROSS IS VISITING DETAINEES IN GUANTANAMO BAY. Feel free to follow the link at the bottom of that article. The next article is titled ICRC Visits Afghan Detainees in Cuba. Here is a link to a copy of the United States Constitution. Feel free to point out to me where it spells out the illegality of the detainees at Guantanamo Bay. http://www.usconstitution.net/const.txt These articles are written on the actual Red Cross website. These are not fabrications made up by some right wing conspiracy group I belong to, otherwise known to as the Republican Party. No matter what kind of information, evidence, or proof I would be able to come up with. The majority of you will still want to feel sorry for poor old Mohammed. Even if I were able to show you a video of him shooting at United States soldier’s with members of al-Qaeda, you would probably still feel sorry for him. You may even say, well he didn’t actually shoot anyone he was just trying to scare them away… Denoir, I respect your tactful reply. I just don’t agree with it. - Mr. Sert

This assumes he was “mistreatedâ€. You and I were not there, and therefore can not truly say what did or did not happen. As much as one can assume that this person was mistreated, it is quite easy to come to the conclusion he was not. The United States did not just go around and arrest Muslim soccer moms and take them to Guantanamo Bay. These people are at Guantanamo Bay for a reason, and that reason is not because they are Muslim. Ace copied and pasted an article regarding Mohammed Sagheer’s lawsuit. Let us spend some time reviewing this article…. By now the majority of Kool-Aid drinker’s have swallowed up this article, and many like it. “Mohammed Sagheer ® says he was mistreated at Guantanamo Bay†I can assure you that Mohammed Sagheer did not get three meals a day, experienced a tremendous amount of sleep depravation and did not get to read the Koran. I do not know what other types of tactics were used against Mohammed, but for Mohammed those things alone are enough to cry mistreatment. “His lawyers say he is suing for the mental and physical torture he endured at Camp X-Ray in Guantanamo Bay.†Mohammed was not allowed to speak to anyone but his interrogators. Mohammed was probably put down, and yelled at by these interrogators on a regular basis. Mohammed probably wanted to go back home, and did not feel very welcome. This can definitely be construed as mental torture. At the very least Mohammed was made to stand, kneel, or assume very uncomfortable positions for hours on end. This is a common practice used by interrogators operating at Guantanamo Bay. This in the least was enough for Mohammed to constitute the claim of physical torture. I know that after about 200 sit-ups, I feel as though I’m being tortured. “In the first case of its kind, Mr Sagheer described his arrest by American authorities as illegal and his treatment at the prison camp in Guantanamo Bay as extremely inhuman.†Mohammed was captured during combat operations. Mohammed was held within the guidelines of the Geneva Convention, and international law. Mohammed obviously did not like being held at Guantanamo Bay. Prior to his capture, Mohammed probably never experienced this type of treatment. To Mohammed this treatment was “inhumanâ€. “He says he was kept for more than a year in a prison cell that was like a cage meant for animals.†At home Mohammed did not have to live with so many constraints. I do not know if Mohammed owns any pets, but if he does I assume he keeps them in a cage. This is probably where Mohammed perceives he was “treated like an animalâ€. I personally would never keep my pets in a cage, unless of course my pets were accused terrorists. “During this period he says he was treated in the worst possible manner and was repeatedly interrogated about his links to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.†The worst possible manner? Mohammed still has all the same functions, and limbs he possessed prior to his detainment. If he did not we would definitely be hearing about it. I personally can think of a worse possible manner than that. Mohammed may have forgotten this during his detainment. However Mohammed’s sole purpose for being at Guantanamo Bay is to be interrogated about his links to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. “Despite insisting that he no ties to the Islamic militant group, Mr Sagheer says he was punished by the authorities for what they saw as his lack of co-operation.†There are over 600 detainees at Guantanamo Bay that have no ties to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. Mind you that this is no where near the amount of people being held in the United States that were set up, or not guilty. Mohammed probably did not have very nice things to say to the interrogators when they asked him questions. The interrogators themselves probably said some not so nice things in response. Subsequently, they subjected Mohammed to the already above mentioned treatment. This would be called punishment. Most likely Mohammed’s frolicking with known terrorists, and terrorist organizations landed him in Guantanamo Bay. This is not to say that Mohammed is in fact a terrorist, as I do not have that information. I can assume Mohammed himself is not tied directly to any previous known terrorist operations, since he was released. However it is quite clear in my mind that Mohammed had valuable and resourceful information about terrorist organizations, and the terrorists that support them. After Mohammed’s year of interrogation, he probably provided his interrogators with as much information as they felt he knew. Mohammed was not at Guantanamo Bay for year saying nothing. From Mohammed’s standpoint, now imagine you have just been released from over a year of interrogation. Do you think the terrorist organizations, or terrorists he knows about think he said nothing. Probably not. What better way to reassure them you did not say anything, then to cry out to the world about your mistreatment at the hands of the United States. On top of that maybe you can get some money. I apologize for the lengthy reply. Ace this reply was in no way meant to attack your opinion. I appreciate you providing the article that allowed me to present mine. - Mr. Sert
