    Ofp:goty starting c&c generals!?

Tried with both discs labelled "Game disc", that is, number two and three. However, I finally got it working. Maybe not the most elegant solution, though - I tried installing a "no-CD fix", and it worked. (If anyone's wondering, I have got the original game.)

    Mouse moves slow

If you have a Logitech mouse, you might want to try this out: Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to open Task manager. Close the process EM_EXEC.EXE. This is the special Logitech MouseWare driver. Don't worry, your mouse will work without it too. It just adds some extra functionality to your mouse like redefining button actions and such. Then start OFP as usual. This has helped me many times. For some strange reason, it has some issues with a few applications. The result is extremely slow mouse movements. I can't remember having had problems with OFP, though. You may, to avoid having to shut the process down evey time you want to play OFP, try installing MouseWare version 9.73. This doesn't seem to have these problems. Good luck.
  3. Now this has got to be the strangest problem I've ever experienced with a computer game. If I try starting OFP GOTY-Edition, but get Command & Conquer: Generals instead. There is nothing wrong with the desktop shortcuts to the games. I've also tried cleaning up / removing the Windows registry entries of the games, without getting any farther. Both games are patched to their latest iterations. (Same problems with the original versions.) The game works if I uninstall C&C:Generals, but I'd like to avoid doing that. I'm using quite a clean Windows-install as I formatted my computer only a few weeks ago, and I haven't installed many programs and such. I had the same problem before formatting. Both the games are their original installments. I have not tampered with them. Any help is welcome!
