Are Arma2 map the same size as OFP1 maps? It seems like OFP1 had more types of terrians and islands that I liked.

OFP 1 had me hooked, then i picked up Arma1 and was disappointed majorly. I waited to see if OFP DR would be any good before I spent money on Arma2. checked OFP DR out and it was super disappointing and as luck would have it. Steam and D2D had ARMA2 for sale so I picked a copy up yesterday and it's ALOT smoother and more fun than I expected. Liked it enough to recommend it to my Bro's so they also picked it up. We're going to do coop tonight. :)

In OFP and all my FPS games, i used right mouse button to move forward. In AA, right hold also makes you zoom in, is it possible to disable the zoom?

I'm trying to make missions using the addons that are in the Flash FX 3.5 Total Conversion. It has the BAS Helo in there and since there is a "clean editor" i can not select the build in BAS helo's. I'm wondering what is the point of having that clean editor if i cant pick the non BIS standard vehicles.

What is the purpose of the clean editor? how would i make missions using the addons that come with this TC if i cant select it from the mission editor?

I don't know if anyone has brought this up before, but when shooting rockets from a helo, if the rocket comes from the left, the sound comes from the right and vice versa. This happens when i run ECP by itself too.

Indeed, i'm on cable and it's wierd how sometimes i have a very small bandwidth when i have a ping time around 30ms.

I have a 60ms ping and yet my bandwith is from 5-8 and with others, it's 60 or so. how is this calculated? I'm getting tons of desynchs because of this! any help would be appreciated, thanks!

My bro and I are playing on the same server but somehow I always get the "no message from server" error message and i get dropped and yet he is still playing. what is going on? I am using the linksys router too. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I need help figuring out why i have a mouse cursor that's normally in the OS appearing in the game with the game mouse cursor. it's quite annoying. I didnt have this problem until i changed to winXP Pro after i installed the epox 8rda+ motherboard. The rest of the games like Medal Of Honor, GTA3 and AOM don't have this problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm suprised you all put up with the sync errors in 1.85. I went back to 1.75 to play with my friends because in 1.85 we kept getting lag problems even with the 1.87 server.
