The GPMG/FN MAG/C6/M240b/g has to be one of my all time favorite weapons. I hope you give it a good sound FX and some nice tracers .

The BAS ranger pack has an early m249 minimi with the skeleton stock. Its not used on any of the units but it is in the pack. BAS_JM249 IIRC

I like the big bergens .

Looks really really nice, I cannot wait to see these on my HD. One little token comment though. I would honestly think about giving them buttpacks instead of Rucksacks. In most of the pictures (esspecially from vietnam) and in documentaries that I've seen on the seals (navy seals in action series) they seem to rarely use rucksacks. I geuss their missions tend to be of a fairly short duration and they like to be able to strike hard and fast. The units look really good but I would consider taking off those rucksacks. Another thing that was included in the HYK pack is the individual first aid kit. http://www.actiongear.com/cgi-bin/tame.exe/agcatalog/pics/mfa553a.jpg I've seen this in use by SEALs in many pictures, I believe it is on the webbing of the HYK 1985 units, on either the right or left side. In most of the documentaries the SEALs seem to be wearing these on their webbing. Anyways, looking good, just some innocent suggestions.

So, how are these coming along?

I'm really excited for the release of this mod. IMO it is the perfect conflict to replicate in OFP. The weapons are evenly matched, no armor or complicated terrain to create an abundance of lag. I think that the flat terrain will lend itself perfectly to a game experience with little lag for those of us with lower end computers. The Falklands was a very interesting war and I regard it as one of the last true infantry wars without alot of fancy gadgets. I can't wait till this comes out as it will certainly have a special place on my HD. Untill then I'll just have to go back to iceland island and the modified Malvinas units I have for private use. I can't wait to try out some of your SAS troops on a recce around Stanley.

I had trouble getting online aswell, but I rebooted and tried again and after about 45 seconds it connected, not turning it off now! lol.

The game does take place in the 80s... . I re-configured the SAS and SBS in that pack for personal use aswell, the SBS are in some sort of black uniform so they rarely see use from me. The SAS are armed with M16, M203, L4 Bren, L4 sniper, Browning 9mm and I gave them the UKF GPMG.

I was searching on google and found a set of NZSAS that were under construction. I think it was at OP flash forums but the thread was dated may. Besides that thread (which had completed units in screen shots) I have not heard/seen anything about that addon. I think NZSAS in vietnam is a really great idea and i'd love to see it in game. If anyone knows anything about that addon, let me know.

Just bumping this up to see if anyone else has some 411. The screens look really nice. I wouldint mind having those on my HD.

The DKM land rover is correct. Its not the same model as this one Falklands has made (which is very sexy). The DKM landie is a special Lightweight version.

I always wanted to make montreal, it would be perfect since its already an island. God knows I'd need to learn to edit islands first.

I'm gonna use these to create a fictional senario similar to borneo in the 60s. Using this addon , LA Drang, UKF, diemco pack and architect's Puma. A ex commonwealth gov't asks the UK to send SAS commandos to help combat paramilitary seperatist geurillas. This addon rocks!

Thanks for killing the joke guys. This is one of the first ever OFP mods I can remeber so I was joking that they've been working since 1982. Untill they release Ill have to make due with my personally modified malvinas paras and SAS.
