Your Graphic Card and Arma Settingsx

I have 2.5 gig of PC3200, would it make any difference taking out the 512mb stick, leaving in 2x 1 gig sticks? I have a bit of a mish mash of memory, 1 gig stick is Kingston, other is samsung & the 512 stick is Kingston..

    Hardware and settings for ArmA

well my system is now as follows.. Cpu = Athlon 4200 64x2 GFX = Inno3d 8800GTS 320 mb Memory = 2.5gig Kingston PC3200 Sound = Audigy 2 ZS Monitor = Fujitsu/seimens 22" widescreen Visibility 3500 Reso 1024x768 Terrain detail = High Objects Detail = High Shading = Normal Postprocess = Low Antistropic Filtering = Normal Shadow Detail = Normal Antialiasing = Low Blood = High that gets me a steady 35-45 FPS in all areas Pretty disappointed at the reso I need to choice, to have the game run decently & look good visually - maybe I have something wrong with my system that I need to play this way, but games like GRAW2 (which I beta test) I can crank everything to max & it plays & looks beautiful...

    Video Options

Need something cleared up, when I was reading my Arma manual, I came across two Video Options I appear to lack in my game, HDR Quality & Reflection Quality.!! Does my 7800GT not support these options, has a patch taken these away or do I have a fault? Oh & yes I have checked in advanced options

Your ideal PC to play ARMA?

My rig Athlon 4200 X2 Gigabyte 7800GT 2.5 gig PC3200 SB Audigy 2 ZS 19" BenQ LCD Monitor Ok I have to run at mainly low settings (1280x1024) on everything to get FPS at a reasonable playable rate (25-40 fps) sorry but the game looks cack at lowest settings, surely my rig should be above minimum specs. I mean I understand I cannot play at full settings x4 AA, but come on I play games like oblivion & vanguard at more eye pleasing settings than this game.. I know graphics aren't everything, but I've saw what ArmA looks like on full settings & its awesome, on lowest its pish
