    New game: 1944: D-day

I never plan to compete with Flashpoint, its personally one of those games that I simply love playing. There is no heath bar, nor there is a health guage of any description, we use the physics and stats on the unit to determine their physical state (injured, alive, dead, dieing etc.) I've take 4 years to get this far, I doubt I will be rushing it any time soon, we are indie developers so we can easily afford to spend the extra months on the game instead of rushing it out the door. Also if you want to bring this convo to our boards, as opposed to hear. While I know its off topic, never the less its still a game board and Im not sure if we should discuss another product here. But if the admins are cool with it, I am up for answering any and every question you may have.

Cheers lads, well we only plan on doing Normandy once, and we want to do it justice. So we aim to get it right first time round. With regards to the weapons, we easily have all versions of the common weapons done. We even feature more rare weapons, just so we dont leave anything out. We currently have a task list for weapons that show we have about 117 weapons to do, at the moment we have about 70 done. So you can be sure we have all the main weapons, with most variations. If we miss something just give us a shout and let us know. We are not above making mistakes, errors and other human flaws. We strive to do our best on this project, so get in and get involved with us, thats the only way you will be certain that we make the game you want to play. Also we have Alpha spots, that allow people to get their hands on testing the game and mods before they are officially released so get into our forums and get active and you could be on the Alpha Team testing the game at each and every step of the way.

Hi all When I started this project some 4+ years ago Normandy wasnt over done, I will be the first to admit that now, Normandy is not my first choice, but given the road I took back then, I decided to finish what I started. Hence we are developing this in a Normandy Scenario. Perhaps the saving grace for this is that All of Normandy is covered, not just a simple 1km patch of road, or some small routes through a town. Instead we are accurately developing 160x160km of terrain that the player can walk around. Its a 100% persistent world, with all AI movements tracked and monitored. We have a full career system. Great Physics, Realistic 24 Hour Atmospheric Lighting, Adapting Weather. 250,000 units to Choose From Over 250 Playable Vehicles Over 70 Weapons Every nation, not just the Usuall US 101st, but also All Brittish Units, All US units, French Resistance all German Units. You name it we have researched all aspects from all angles, considering all sides. Now that alone I believe warrants doing Normandy, and doing it right. Not following one squad, or one soldier but covering the duties and missions, objectives and activities during D-Day. Its a tall order but we have a dedicated and structured team, and we put in the hours. Dont worry once Normandy is done, we will get as many mission packs and scenarios out as we can, so as to give the greatest level of variety. We do intend to cover all of Europe, The Eastern Front, Africa, Italy, Norway, Finland, Pacific and many other areas. So be patient, and if you have any questions you can either pop across to our forums and ask, or simply ask them here, and I will try and keep and eye on this thread.
