BWMod Release (Basic Pack v1.2, Wiesel v2.0)

Just started testing out BWMOD last night, and I must say, that the BWMOD team realy have impressive work. This might be something i will play around a lot with in the editor. What I was wondering about is if anyone knows of any good G36 packs, and other good weapons used by the german army. Im planning a little KSK mission, and it would be nice to arm them with more weapons than the mp5 I guess the ksk is using g36 weapons.. Are they using any thing from the m4 famely? or weapons from other producers than HK? Knepoman -
Thanks for the fast Answers  I have just downloaded all the bwmod addons from the bwmod homepage, and are just started to try them out. Didnt know of this problem. But I would say that bwmod has some damn fine interesting, and different addons. take care Knepoman

Is it just me, or doesnt the optics for the weapons work on the Dingo?? Had the same problem with the fennek..

Mod folder is named finmod like it has to be? Yes its named finmod. I did no changes after installing it After my first try with ww2 pack, I installed finmod1.3 again to be sure everything was like its suposed to be. I have no idea what it can be.. I will let you all know if i figure something out

Linux dedicated server? Hotfix for Linux server only related to FDFww_w.pbo Well it's not a FDF Mod release without any bugs  It should be pretty easy to fix. Get this file (viksi.zip) and extract it to your server directory. It has directory structure included in archive, so it should create fdfww_conf directory and one file (wounds.hpp) inside it. Hope it does the trick Im not sure what you mean with server directory?? Im not a computer specialist.. Im running it in winxp and im not playing on any servers, only try it single player at home

I got a problem When I try to run fdfmod after installing the ww2 pack i get this error message: preprocessor failed on file fdfww_w\config.cpp - error 1. I Run fdfmod in a mod folder and I use no other addons togehter with it. Only fdfmod 1.3 and the ww2 pack Anyone knows what this can be?? Knepo

Having some problems with the rapelling! Maby i do something wrong. I use the puma resco chopper, got a waypoint for the chopper where i put [Puma2,units RappelGroup] exec OFrP_PumaTRappel the combat mode is set to safe and speed to limmited, but sometimes only me (groupleader) get rapelled. my teammates are sitting inside the chopper, if they get out it takes a very long time before they do. I just tried it in the mission editor, maby that has something to do with it..?? Cuz as far as i see i do everything right

Thanks for the information But since we got two pilot rescue units, it would be nice to see pilots without helmets in future realeses... Hmmm... got to make some pilot rescue missions soon i think..

RESCO is the french CSAR mission and belongs to the Armée de l'Air (French Air Force). Like the US mission, it is about rescuing aircraft pilots, hidden inside enemy territory, after a long preparation time, intelligence needed and a lot a air support. IMEX belongs to the French Army Aviation (ALAT : Aviation de l'Armée de Terre). During a heliborne operation, a few kilometers behind the the major action is a chopper with an IMEX team from the PRB platoon inside. If an attack or transport helicopter is either shot down or crashed itself, the IMEX chopper goes on the site and extract immediately the survivors, destroy wreck and secret documents,... The operation must be done in 10 minutes maximum. ok, so the RESCO rescues pilots, but what about hostages? or soldiers being captured by enemy? and the IMEX are some sort of demolition group??

i got some questions about some of the units, and when to use them. RESCO units: what operations does these units trained for? I guess they are some sort of rescue units, but what do they do? IMEX Units: what are these guyes trained for, and when to use? I realy love this pack, its something diffrent from all the american and russian units, nice to have something else to play with.

Maby this has been discused before, but i was to lazy7 to go thru the whole thread.. But since these units will come very soon, maby it's time to find vehincles they can use.. I have not been into uk addons.. Mostly becouse i didn't find any soldier units i liked. But these Desert grunts look great! I look forward to play with them Knepo

I loved these units, I have Been waiting for them ever since i first heard about them. Bug report: the kneepads, and the backs they have around their waist dissapear on distance.
