I found that the sound of the turrent turning seemed to cut out and/or go extremely quiet under some circumstances, though this might be unrelated to the addon and more related to the sound card. Bring on my new Alienware laptop! Great addon though!

and could some one PLEASE upload the objects pbo, downloading the whole pack again still doesn't work. It is probly this computer, but downloading by itself will work im sure...

Where did you download? Did you try two different hosts? I tried both places that were given on the simple site you set up (thats not criticising) could anyone upload just the objects pbo for me to get?

All we need now are a driver and pilot, humvees and a blackhawk all done by laser to ensure top quality, top levels of intergration with each other, and ease of use in the editor

Thats true, camo faces would be really good. Also a marine USMC or force recon pack. But hey, laser's addons are definitely the best in the OFP spectrum in my opinion.

I have a problem that might have been mentioned before, but its quicker to just post it here as the result might be on page 6 or something way back in the thread When I unpbo the O.pbo, its empty, when i place the required files in it and pbo it up again ofp does not work, they only way i can make the anims work is by downloading the already compiled o.pbo and anim.pbo files that you have made available, but then i don't get the pistol anims -
its great that they can pair up against the russian units you made. They make the best duo, along with the USMC and the russian units that come with.

I think using the rag doll effect for the death animations of OFP2 would be a good idea. Let me state at the beginning that I do not know if OFP" engine can work with this effect I am just assumign it can. I think it would be great. Play Postal 2 or max payne 2 and see the death animations, they fall onto what they land on, they never fall through anything and almost every animation is different, they all lie differntly and there would be no more feilds of dead enemys all lying the same way as their is in OFP at the moment. I know the rag doll effect is best used inside buildings to best show off its ability to interact with objects but i think the random death posture would lok just as good outside in the open, each man would react to each bullet that hit them and react to bullets even when they are dead. Making the game even more realistic. As i have said i am not sure what kinda of engine can use rag doll effect, but if OFP2 can work with it, then i deffinalty think it should be included. what do people think?

What is STALKER? Im glad you guys agree, it will be a test to see if the devealopers of the game to take in suggestions on these forums. I hope they spot this thread!

I see where your coming from. One thing I would like to see is in game chatter i.e. if you drop behind cover next to a guy on your side he would make some passing comment to you. Or you run past your leutenant and he would hiss at you to stay sharp or something.

Oh yeah that was one thing that i liked about Vietcong, that when people got hit they yelped and swore like "ow sh*t" and "f*ck im hit" n stuff, helped the atmosphere. Also when the medic stops you and says "your bleeding wait a minute" Some scared chatter between the player and the medic when the medic heals you would be quite atmospheric "your okay man your okay calm down" etc.

yeah i was thinking more along the lines of turning a corner in a village and coming across a street full of groaning fellow soldier and an enemy machien gun at the end... RUN!

This is a slightly different tack on the thread topic, but i was thinking about how it would be more realistic and more interesting if every soldier who was knocked out of the fight wasn't knocked out because they are dead. There must be more ways to be neutralised on a battlefield than dying but still be uncurable for the duration of the mission. Incapacitated by wounds but still twitching/groaning for example. It would be good i think to see this implemented into OFP2, plus it would give even more reason to get a head shot in black ops missions in case the groans attract other sentries...
