Fuck, that was a rant, but let me tell you, I hate ignorance. Especially when they insult my family who have been dragged into American led wars for as long as I can remember. 5 star general my father/uncle were NOT, but at least they saw REAL wars, instead of fighting a 3rd world country. I'm off to enjoy myself now instead of arguing with mongos. If I get banned, fine. I don't really give a shit. Tex: fuck off. I am REALLY pissed with you morons.

If you people can't detect humor without me puttin smiley-faces after every single goddam sentence than I give up. I understand that the humor is a little darker than the usual stuff, but surely you can see the irony of Islamic terrorists attacking a country that at times seems to at least tacitly support groups like Hamas. It let's you know whose side they are ultimately on. Now that I've managed to piss everyone off including the 12 year old with the 5-star general daddy, I think I'll crawl back into my hole to think of some more witticisms that will get me in trouble.<span id='postcolor'> Tex, I'm not 12. I'm 30. And my family have seen more combat over the years than you. I don't hear ANYTHING about your combat experience- or will you call the Gulf War a "true" war? Something that lasted 100 hours? You killed more British than the Iraqis did in - SO SHUT UP!! 1) Yes, don't say anything. 2) Yes, give up. F**k off for all I care . Those are the smartest words you've said. As for witticisms I cannot wait for the next batch of words that need to be spell-checked.

Yes, remember that Xmas is but a week away I must go to bed lol

Yes, on the face of things my post was rather childish. Although the replies weren't that clever either. To be quite honest this is only a forum, not a life or death situation. So, I won't lose any sleep over it Merry Xmas, anyway folks!!! (PS: Am having a cup of tea )

It takes a brave man to insult people anonymously. Obviously what I said didn't go with the US POV. How come you're not saying that in the other thread? http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=24599 Quite frankly "Raptor", you're a moron. PS: If it's a battle of wits you want, I won't fight with an unarmed man.

So, "Tex" do you think I am the only person who disagrees with US policy? Why not check out: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard301/ikonboard.cgi? s=3e01018960e6ffff;act=ST;f=11;t=24599 "If you would be so kind as to supply a bit more proof for your claims than your obvious bias against the US and some rather pointless genetic credentials (who fucking cares what your daddy does? My dad is a Vietnam vet, so I'm an expert in small unit tactics ). " My point is that I have heard about terrorism from 1st hand rather than from CNN! FACTS: 1) The US invaded Vietnam 2) The US got beat - and they can't handle it 3) The US sponsored the Taleban - DENY IT. 4) The US sponsored the IRA - DENY IT. 5) The US sponsored Saddam Hussein's regime - DENY IT. organisations" Hey Tex, first: don't call me pal. And, never insult my family. All the Yanks did in Nam was kill innocent people, use agent orange and retreat. My uncle spent years clearing after your shitty mess in Kuwait and Somalia. Second, tell me, if the IRA bombed YOUR country and Russia sponsored their firearms you'd be OK with it right? Hey, maybe I'm totally wrong and the US never sponsored the IRA? I really don't give a shit what your aunt and uncle did. I do know that your government is hypocritical when it talks about terrorism. Tex, I won't fall foul of the moderators by telling you that you're a cock (merely conjecture, I never said he was). I will let the Europeans tell you the truth.

Algerians have french papers havent they ? Ran ?<span id='postcolor'> algerian have algerian papers . remember ...we lost Algeria war .... we DO NOT dictate foreign policy to the Muslim world anymore remember that once , France colonised the entire Mhagreb (morocco , tunisia , algeria) algeria was a french colony , one of the main spoken languages here is still french but that's all most of these muslim activists are just a bunch of nostalgics of the FLN .... but , i really don't know what are there reasons to come in france to attempt bombings or so (note that some of their attempts were successfull) , maybe they're just some cheap terrorists who can't afford a flight to the US or .. i really don't know<span id='postcolor'> Not so funny when it's your team, huh?<span id='postcolor'> Moderators, ban me, but only if you feel I am lying. I am not. Quote: Not so funny when it's your team eh? Hah f**king ha. You are truly one sick bast*rd. I resent Americans preaching about politics. Look at how the US is alienating the world. example: http://www.sobran.com/columns/021212.shtml And no, I'm no conspiracy theorist... The point? Listen, only now is the US feeling the fear of terrorism, the like of which Britain, Ireland, France etc have felt for years. On the subject, I also seem to remember America sponsored the IRA, Saddam Hussein and the Taleban... ? Remember that IRA terrorist with the Barrett sniper rifle? Wonder where he got that from? Hmmm.. Funny how the worm turns, yeah? Anyway: If you think I don't know about "terrorism" I KNOW you are wrong: FWIW, my father was in Aden, and he was with the UK Navy during the Cuba Crisis, on the *** *****. My father knows about insurgency and instability. And, before you start yawning, my uncle was on the front line touring Northern Ireland from 1972-1985, EVERY DAY facing death from an IRA bullet, bomb, whatever. (He is now a bomb disposal expert; his last *major* op was in Kuwait in 91- 92 clearing mines.) regards, Kojak

When I say "they are lagging behind" you know I mean Nvidia lol!

There isn't a game that requires or truly takes advantage of them, and by the time those are available, you'll be able to get something faster for less money, or the same card with new (fixed) cores and better drivers.<span id='postcolor'> I had to laugh when I saw that. I used to run a GeForce 2 Ultra and hardly got a view distance of 1000. Now with a Radeon 8500 I get 1900+ and decent anti-aliased tanks. I bet with a 9700 combined with my XP 2700+ I would (nearly) see OFP as it's meant to be: fully anti-aliased with a "as far as the eye can see" view distance. All you Nvidia guys can diss ATI but at the end of the day they are lagging behind at the moment. I don't really want to hear about hardware that's not released at the moment. Maybe the new iteration of the Radeon will spank the NV30's ass? Who can say.

None of the links work for me (2:17 PM UK time) - I copied them into IE's address bar etc, removed some HTML <p> tags that were appended erroneously, but nothing... anyone got alternate links I can use. I like the sound of the campaign.

In Afghanistan UN was split and not very willing to assist US plans. They did under the shadow od 9/11 , but I dont think they wil do again.<span id='postcolor'> What makes you think the US will give a shit about what the UN think? I'm not having a go at you, I just don't think the UN have the guts. Who exactly is going to stop America if they do decide to invade without a mandate? I look forward to the replies... Also, I wonder why the US waited 11 years to take out Saddam? I mean, it's not like there's a lack of other dictatorships that contravene basic human rights (China, anyone? Oh, what about Saudi Arabia) and as for countries developing WMD, what about North Korea? Everyone, this is all about oil and establishing a new world order in the middle East. Regards, and please, no personal flames

Hmm... the Matrox Parhelia 512 isn't the fastest card out there.. (see http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/02q2/020625/parhelia-30.html for review) I wonder how it will cope with the increased polygon count? Will the US army settle for 10 fps lol Just joking.

The women models there certainly look much better than those in resistance - nice work (which one is miss Scotland? ) I for one certainly look forward to single-handedly rescuing the ladies... and waiting for my reward
