    or will a sempron 2.8ghz do the jobe better then the amd64 3800 2.4 ghz? because i can get an older compiuter with the faster sempron just for operation flashpoint and leave this compiuter that i use for never games.

    i have a qouestion related to compiuter system specs i whant to know what kaind of compiuter the developers of the ffur mod use or you to play the game with there mod with the setting maxed uot resoliution 1024 864 and draw distance 1200 because i have 7600gs 256mb agp 8 1500ram amd64 2.4ghz and i get terrible lags in mision battlefield maybe if i change to 7600gt 512mb agp 8 it will help because of the 512mb video memory ?

    maybe there is a mod that reduses the draw distance of shadows that you could see shadows that are for example 50meters of you not 1000m like in original game and that would increase the performace. and turning shadows of helps but with shadows it is better looking game. i had the latest ecp it was greate but i wanted better looking models then the original and when i moded to have the better models it became lagy as ffur i keep the terrain detail always on low and i have 1536mb of ram

    ofp does not supporrt amd64 2x cant buy a amd64 cpu that has one core and has 2.8 or 3.0 ghz because there isnt one and amd64 2x 2.8ghz cost alot

    now i have a compiuter asus 7600gs 256mb agp 8x amd 64 3800 2.4ghz s939 1536ram and i am using a ffur latest mod. i want to play the game without a lag with shadows enabled what do i need to upgrade the procesor or the ram. i am now playng the game at 1200 view distance textures qoulity at max, frame rate set to 7.15 still i get lags on the mision battlefield even without the shadows. So what do i need to upgrade that i cud play without lags with those stats and shadows enabled even at the battlefield mision. because i want to upgrade my compiuter for ofp and i at this time i can buy only 1024 ram or a amd64 2x 4200 2.2ghz s939 procesor wich better to take?

    ok thanks for the help and one more qoustion is arma better on large firefights then the firs game because i will upgrade to 2gigs of ram and move on to arma maybe i wont get to play on max details but the medium and low textures shadows... are still better then the first game.

    10motb i know the problem in the patches thunderbird84 fixed only the american grenades i think he forgot to fix the russian and resistance grenades if you know how to mod change the ffur grenades models with old ofp models that will fix it

    did some one noticed when the apc-m113, bmp2, bmp3, and bredley moves on a mine it send it flying and did someone tryed to fix those models that they be more heavyer

    you will have to edit the configs man:land part at the botom there will be a line Init="_this exec ""\SLX_GL3\SLX_Init_GL3.sqs"";_this exec ""\ffur_anims\Swim.sqs"""; you have to change it that it will use some other script because i have ecp mod i typed init="_this exec ""\ECP_Effects1\sup_fire.sqs"""; and then putted the required addon to the addon folder that it will find that script but when you will do that the soldiers wont use the slx ai but there will not be those dust effects when the bullet hits the ground from the man class.

    this is not a bug it is slx ai you will have to edit the config to remove it.

    yes the ffur/slx 2007 config is difrent from the ffur 2007 so if you will patch ffur/slx 2007 with ffur 2007 patches you will get ffur 2007 without the slx effects

    but first make a backup of the config file in the and when you do change something in that file you shud compress it to the bin file with the tool that is in the Editable folder. and one more thing here what you need to change in the file aimPrecision=1.6; the number shows how much the aimpoint moves so when you want to change the file just copy aimPrecision then open edit find and paste the word it in the search line and it will take you to that line when editing with notepad and there are alot of them so reduce there numbers by 0.2 like aimPrecision=2 to aimPrecision=1.8 and if you want i can send my config to your email if you will give it to my but it is alot changed it is difrent from the oroginal ffur game because i modded it to full realism but i think you shud like it and the config is from the newest 1.05 patch.

    didnt you trayed to change the config and set it as you like i have fixed the recoils, accuracy, and the aimpoint movment to relistic. And the standard ofp recoils and aimpoint movments is not realistic but the ffurs mods recoils axept for the sniper is realistic but the aimpoint movment needs to be a little reduced but not set as default ofp. The Accuracy on ffur is realistic only on machineguns it needs to be increased but bacause i know how to mod i increased it.

    the tank gun has two ends one from where it fires and other end in the tanks tower where it is loaded i do not know how to tell it exactly in english

    but on some tanks it ejects at the front and i think it shud eject and the very end of the weapon where they loade the gun up
