I have a problem when i play arma, when there is alot of loud explosions the environment sound kinda "fades" abit, then it returns to normal again but the "fire" sound from my gun has always the same sound level. I have tested with and without Hardwareacceleration / EAX, all possible combination. Its very annoying. Any idea? Windows XP SP3 Soundcard Soundblaster Audigy 2

Can you switch between icon/text when you rearm at a soldier.. i hate the icons or whatever they are called Exampels Picture1 Picture2 Edit: For those who dont understand what i mean. Can you disable the icons when you eg. rearm at a soldier or drive a car and have text instead? It seems that sometimes the text appear and sometimes the icons.. i dont know why. Those two pictures are taken at the same time on two different soldiers lying on the ground

When I put the line this setUnitPos "Up" in the init field, the guy goes prone when he has spotted an enemy, it did work well in ofp or is it another command in arma? -

Well in the mission editor, i put an aircraft (AV-8B) and a "destroy" waypoint on a t72 platoon, the plane just circle around and never fire a single missile/bomb? The same thing happens when I put some BLUEFOR boats in the water and a chopper (KA-50) with a destroywaypoint and it just circle around, is it a bug or lack of mission editor skills? How do you make an AV-8B (GBU) drop bombs on a target (House, tanks etc) or is it possible, it has never happend to me with destroywaypoints etc. I'm using patch 1.01

I want a mission editor guide, show the basic things to do a mission with intro, kill the badguys, and outro etc, and then move up a level and do more advance missions.. in a userfriendly handbook or something.. thanks

What's that first sound 3 sec in to the video when they start firing (Shootout.avi) its sounds like one distance shot you can here in real warmovies.. donno how to explaine It is supersonic crack created by a bullet passing by, you can hear it just before the rifle discharge. Its efect of realistic audio physics in ArmA. Yeah, I will capture that stuff later on when I get home from work so you can hear it more clearly. Yes i have always wanted a game sound like that, just listen to this "Battlefield 2 Supersonic bullet crack sound mod", im not a BF2 fan but i like this soundmod.. I also want that "echo" sound from all firing weapons.. sounds very good in my ears http://video.google.com/videopl....c+crack
