Is it possible to get the editor to save my Custom missions in another location? I hate where it sames them. I know that saving as a PBO file puts them in the game folder but not my work in progress files.

This is a good idea I had this idea a long time ago in OFP I actually Built a Caterpillar D9 Uparmored Dozer for OFP and put it ingame. it was little more then a tank with no turret, Im not good with coding things and its clear you have done a good Job. So I would like to offer you my model to put into amra 2 if possible? Custom unit loadouts POOF?

From a trigger? ok? so I put in a trigger how do I set it up? The mission works fine in Editor and Single player... just not Multiplayer. So its finding the Weapons and stuff, if I need a trigger I would need to know how it should be set up Im a newbie at this Arma stuff. So now one has any idea? -

Ok so its not the same exactly because mine is a multiplayer issue and I have tried all those things that Jdog has told me to try... if anyone else knows why custom weapons loadouts in multiplayer dont work? -

I wouldnt think so, Although now its telling me It cant find the M4A1SD.sqs? The weapons are there though... Checking Multiplayer now. Grrr After trying it doesnt work.. so I guess its diffrent! :-( -

Im gonna try what he said. "init.sqf" Maybe that will fix it for me. Im new to arma stuff... OFP wasnt like this... Im going to go have a look it is funny we both posted a topic at the same time... wonder if I can close mine?lol Anyways Im gonna mess with the Briefing. Maybe just remove the HTML version? Use just the briefing.sqf? Is the Briefing.html needed? -
OK so I used Arma Edit to build a few load outs for Arma 2, I manually changed the weapons to Silenced Arma 2 weapons so it all works, Im not over weight and Im not using wrong stuff. It all works fine in the editor! When I save and go to host it for an 8 player fight with friends, the weapons all revert back to stock weapons? Is there something I missed? Am I suppost to do something so the Custom Loadouts work in multiplayer? I looked around and didnt find anything refering to this exactly, so If I missed it sorry and please link me!

Are you crazy? I had this happend in OFP and Arma... You must be a lucky duck sir.. lucky or some one is spiking your missions for you. -

i think you can Sync them and they will wait for eachother? or something? maybe it was sync their waypoints.. IF they are in the same group they will follow the lead vehicle anyways I think. I could be wrong... -

Oh Sweet! This is Awesome! It worked and it was Way easier then before. Im not sure how but thats pretty nice. ok so now to make it work in a mission... need to link things to objectives... I got that now, if I can just figure out why the vehciles wont start out where I tell them to... -

Well Thanks, that bottom one Is much easier isnt it! That makes my day.. but now how do I make it say when this is true Objective complete? and if your helping :-D I ready on another post the set hight for objects. It doesnt work :-( any reason Why I was trying to set a help on the Carrier. After trying the bottom one out it doesnt work :-( least not with me doing it wrong I assume. After thinking about it, I really dont learn so well this way, I was wondering if someone would build a mission to show me? something I would reverse engineer? I can dePBO it and look it over and learn from what I see working. Then I will learn if anyone is willing to help? -
Hello, I havent scripted anything since OFP, I tried once in Arma But none of the stuff I was trying to use worked and I didnt care to learn again. Now Im in arma 2 and want to try yet again. I use to Make missions with simple scripting I think, I would set down and Array something like this Shilka [ S1,S2,S3] S1-S3 being what I named the Shilkas in the mission, didnt matter how many. I it was just grouping them so I could get a trigger to count them later, and when the number of Shilka left was less then 1 Objective was true for that objective. I looked through arrays here I dont see anything like it used to be it all seems more complex. So does anyone know what Im talking about? and how I can now do this? I tried to search for the answers but the arrays I saw I dont understand at all. It was like reading Chinese, I read english and bad english.
