I have experienced something like this with a game called Oblivion which btw I can run with fairly high settings without a problem except with multiple enemies.

That leads to the question if the demo has the same performence as the reatil game with the latest patch. Otherwise I don't think I agree that your pics looks good. My impression is that it's not much better tham OFP. Also the FPS isn't really that important as long as you don't have stutters. So do you have problems with stutters? I use the 84.21 nvidia drivers. The latest drivers give me problems in FS9 and I have been told they are only good for cards above 6600GT

Has your video card DDR3 memory?

If I understand you correct you have an identical graphics card as me? I'm sure the video card is the most critical part for performence in a game like this. According to the pics you set the sliders rather low. But maybe the retail game has better performence than the demo?

Could some one tell me what are the stated system requirements for Armed assault? I'm unable to find this info? Then after stating the minimal and/or recommended requirements could you also tell me the real requirements? Are my system up to it? Athlon 64 3200+ 1 Gb 400 MHz DDR RAM NVIDIA 6600GT 256M DDR3 Win XP home Of course I wan't to use the enhanced graphics but I can think of making some comprimises with the settings

In this mission I go to the bridge and designate the target and call the aircraft. Result either nothing happens or some bombs seem to miss the bridge. Do I have to designate a certain spot on the bridge or getting very close? Both two first objectives are marked as fullfilled.

In this mission I'm supposed to set a limpet bomb on a car. Problem is I have no limpet bomb and neither can I find one. I picked up a satchel chargd and a mine and put at the car. Then I went north to the extraction point and boarded the heli. Then after a while the heli stopped and nothing more happened. How do I fullfill this mission?

I had the same problem before I downloaded an updated version of the campaign. I got a link to that in my previous thread looking for campaigns that work.

I'm trying to play addon campaigns but I often find out that they don't work. For example at ofp.gamepark.cz I tried the first listed campaign Bas_Alta_Tension. I installed the listed required addons. But still I got error messages telling me about missing m60 addon. I searched for m60 and found four items. tried one but still no success (it's not even possible to exit the campaign but I have to close down the whole OFP). So I would like to know which campaigns do work right away? I don't have time troubleshooting and searching and trying out addon files not explicitely listed as required for the campaign. I use the GOTY edition and has the 1.96 patch installed.

Yes I took a note and it's m60. I have read the readme file and it does not mention any m60.

I have downloaded the Civil War mod and I got a 20 MB file with name CWmod.rar. I don't understand what to do with it. The .rar format is not recognised by Windows. Is this a compressed file? The mod was supposed to come in folder named CWmod containg two folders. But CWmod.rar is not treated as a folder by Windows. What do I miss?

Ok done that and installed. But I only have an Island Gettysburg under multiplayer but no missions. What remains to be done?

In the ambush mission I habe been in Houdan and the marked seize this area place and all enemy seems to be eliminated. Still the last objective is not fullfilled and the mission does not end. The two remaining friendly soldiers remains at FC52 and won't move and they call for me if I leave. Returning to them changes nothing. What am I supposed to do?

In a mission called comvoy I am eventually suppposed to hold a southern road. There is a attack which was repelled. No more enemys appearing and it's getting dark. But no ending. What am I supposed to do to accomplish mission?

Yes diamond showing and maybe easy if the plane comes and bomb the bridge. But that won't happen.

When is this attack supposed to happen?

Among the single missions there is one where you are supposed to carry a flag to a city. I did so and both objectives marked fullfilled. Still I'm told it was a failure and got a goldstar for that. What is that supposed to mean? What was I supposed to do to accomplish the mission?
