Hi I know this vid was released a few weeks back, but I never managed to find a version that would play and figured several others must have had the same problem. Some kind person has uploaded it to 'youtube' and I thought it had some nice sequences in it to keep us happy while we wait for more vids and a demo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....search= Regards Jasooon

Fair enought, but I would have thought Q3 was what most would have been expecting. That's plenty of time to sign a publisher, go gold and put the baby on the shelves for our mits to grab. This game does not really need a huge commercial campaign to sell as many as OF did, as it is on most peoples hit list to purchase anyway. I remember now, there was even a tv ad for OFP when it originally came out. Live action of a soldier with the old, "if you see the flash, its already too late" Waste money on marketing when you have to BIS, this will fly from the start. Not that I am biased of course. Have a nice weekend all and here's to some new content after E3 with any luck Jasooooon

Hi His arm looks about right as you are looking from a lower level up at him. My arm can extend that far in full run, i am however a little more concerned that his gun strapped to his back is half lodged into his spine. Now that's painful. new type of grunt perhaps

Looks like William got his wrist slapped for publishing the wrong AA version pics Â

Hi everyone, first time I have fely inclined to post, but have followed the Armed Assault thread for a while now. Just like to point out a leading point Placebo mentioned in the recent interview. Something along the lines of, " while we are sorting out the publisher, we will continue to tweak the game until its release" and " we are not sure of an exact release date as we are unsure of what the eventual publishers will want to do with either a long campaign or a quick release" I think this pretty much indicates the game is ready, its all down to the publishing deal. And while I am here, i see 'IDEA' is mentioned as the publisher which has been set up by Bohemia and two other companies ? Are IDEA publishing this then or are they a go-between for a global publisher with all the distribution networks in place ? PS. The Blog site needs at least on update a week to keep the buzz going me thinks. I am sick of looking at that map now 8-/ Thanks and regards Jasooon

I have a new instal of ofp res using 1.96 and have a new Joy (logitach wingman force). I used to have a sidewinder force feedback v1 and could use its hat switch to look around when flying helicopters or planes without the view automatically autocentreing on releasing the hat. ie. if i panned my view to the left it would stay there on release of hat switch. With new install I can't seem to stop the view automatically centreing back to front view on hat buton release ? any way to turn off autocentre in user config file perhaps ? many thanks for any help Regards Jasoooon

I was wondering if anyone can shed any more light on this topic, which I have posted before. Has anyone worked out a way to stop the view auto centreing on release of the joystick hat switch when pan your view around inside the cockpit of helicopters, planes, etc. Frere look does not work with the POV hat switch. Any help greatly appreciated as it makes flying around a lot less fun. Regards Jasoooon

Hi Blackdog Unfortunately that does not work. Frre view is useless in choppers and planes in 1.96 Is there a way to turn off centre view in the config file ? Thanks Jasooon
