As it is said in the readme.txt, if you fall thru the deck move the ship a few meters shouth/north in the mission editor map. I´ll try to find out what is going on with that model problem. Jafergon

Hello there, Many people is asking me when is the ship going to be available. So I´m going to announce the definitive release date... We are going to release this add on next Saturday. I know I said that it should be out this weekend, but we need a few additional days for beta testing. Sorry for the delay. The model is now 100% complete and we are working on the config.cpp file. BTW, the ship´s name is U.S.S. Ashland, LSD 48.

Hi, Sorry If I haven´t posted more updates recently, but I´m really busy trying to finish the ship as soon as possible. I´m working now with the Tales of War team. We are trying to make some areas of the ship funcional. This way, you could heal at the sickbay, rearm, refuel... I haven´t managed to make AI helicopters land on the deck so far and I think it´s not possible without scripting. OFP AI pilots don´t like the idea of landing on buildings or on other vehicles:) I gess you´ll enjoy the ship at its best in multiplayer. Some good news, the moving version dock can now also be used with amphibious vehicles. The release date it´s still unknown, but we are working hard to make it available very soon. Jafergon

Thanks a lot for your comments!!!!!!! As I promised yesterday, I have new screenshots, but first I´ll answer some questions: -Yes you can walk around all the interior of the ship. I´ve included the following areas: Navigation bridge, mess hall, sickbay, vehicle storage, weapons storage, sailor berthings, "mardet" berthings (Marine Detachment), Air ops and Officers  lounge. The ship has 7 decks and you can go everywhere. (you´ll pobably get lost the first time you get onboard  like in the real thing) -When the ship is moving you´ll fall off the deck edge unless you are inside sorry it´s because the OFP physics simulation engine, I can´t do anything. - My first attempt was to make a LHD like Tarawa , or a V/STOL carrier  but I foud a limit in the Geometry and roadway LODs that doesn´t allow to walk on objects bigger than 150 meters (this is an approximate figure). -I´ve been working on it for two weeks -I haven´t tested it yet with 1.46, but you´ll probably need 1.75 because the "bouncing effect" wasn´t fixed until that verision. I´ll let you know if it´s possible later -As for the polycount, the finished model has about 6500 faces. I´ll reveal more features in a later post, so stay tunned... Jafergon P.S. I´ve almost finished my first Flashpoint addon. It´s an an amphibious operations ship (Dock Landing Ship). It´s based real ships like Whidbey Island class and Galicia/Rotterdam. You can walk around all 7 decks and up to two helicopters can land on the deck. You can also launch amphibious craft and vehicles from her dock (as you can see in the screenshots). It will be abailable in two versions: static object and a fully operational ship. Helicopters can land on both versions, but only the static object version can be used with amphibious vehicles due to some problems with the OFP engine. I´m currently working on a rotating radar antenna and finishing up some details. More screenshots tomorrow... Jafegon

I know it´s possible because the instrument panels of cars and planes are illuminated at night. How do you make it? using a suffix at the end of the texture name, or creating a selection in O2 with a special name? I´m currently working on a big project, (I´ll keep it a secret for some days), but if you want a clue, I´ve done a few models for Combat Flight Simulator 2 such as USS Stennis Thanks, Jafergon

Is it possible to modify the existing LST to allow players walk around the deck and make the helipad work? I heard someone was working on it.
