Thouse units looks pretty new.. I've only seen these older ones. (posted link before) http://www.bw-flyer.de/hawk/hawk.htm the BCC is where they fire the missiles. And yes you need all the units to make it super realistic.. You could create a "tank commander view" and a radar when you entered the BCC. You can't make it totally realistic but that should work. moving the units is a different story. In real life two HAWK batteries work in concert. One covering the other when they move to remain safe and unpredictable. The units are also trailerd to trucks. So it's a huge fucking circus when it moves.

nope not the missiles.. Â but some of the radars are pretty nasty with radiation. and people has gotten cancer working around theses things. I was only there for a few months.

yup it would be pretty cool to have a whole HAWK battery.. but i'm more into the older units.. Â the stuff I was trained on. (only as crewman, during my conscription time) some more hawk stuff http://www.bw-flyer.de/hawk/hawk.htm (the PAR looks odd because the pic is squished alot) modeling it is no problem for me.. Â but I have this thing with maps.. Â implementing the other units should be very easy, since they are simple radars or static.. Â the HIPAR has to point at targets and the CWAR tilts up and down. there's also the loader, barracktrucks, relaytruck, radiotrucks (pornmags included), messtruck, portable toilet (pornmags included).. if I were to go totally insane.. but that's a bit much.. gameplay wise it's not a big thing.. HAWK units are more fun to blow up anyway..

ok thanks people for feedback.. yes if you want this model implemented it totally depends on other people. That's why there's a download "max file link". I might get some mapping done.. (depends on how lazy I am) RavenDK (aka Frandsen (DDAM modder) is currently looking at it with Oxygen. But ofcause, nothing is certain. I did a quick poly reduction.. and I got it down to 2332 polys (Polygon Counter) scanline says 2630... ? don't know which one to trust. The scene is setup, so it's really easy to reduce polys. At least for semi experienced max users. But I didn't have the heart to go lower.. but it could be done easily.

ok.. so I made a HAWK launcher model... no maps (at least not yet) around 3300 polys.. Â a bit much I know.. but I hate crappy ultra low polygon models. If somebody wants to play around with it.. The questions is.. is it required to model the interior of a tank? I mean.. it's alot of wasted work.. I never use the internal views for anything useful anyway. nope I don't have oxygen.. just asking..

ok... now its' fixed... replaced it with a huge Zenith type, old keyboard.. with some kind of internal speaker that makes "fake" clicking sounds.. and that also happens drive my crazy.. (and it smells a little too.. dusty and old) ahh.... gotta get a new one soon.. i hope..
