Ok, I'm not sure if this has been noticed before, and I'm thinking it is tied into my system clock Dec 24th and all, but run the official single player mission Chinook.........you take a bunch of soldiers to a helo jump.....land the Chinook at this helo jump and you will see x-mas trees all over the place..presents on em and ornaments, star on top of the trees. Has this been found before or did I do find something cool? Anyone?? Jason

Dude, I feel for ya, as I feel the same way, but keep playing and ignore the days as they go past and pretty soon..within a week or so...the new patch will be out. Suma said about a week ago that it will be out in a couple weeks...so it cant be too much longer. Ohh yeah..I would be surprised if this thread stayed open 1 more hour.

ohhh yeah, I forgot about the floods too. Jeeesh!!!

OF-maximus....there is your official statement. You happy now...you gone pissed off SUMA.....better check the interior of all the buildings in the next patch..there is gonna be writing on the wall that says ''OF-minimus"

I have to agree that the plot and overall feel of the campaign was pretty weak. The action was great as always, but I couldnt get into the campaign..it didnt seem to flow very well. I'm not sure what it was, but each mission didnt seem to build on the previous one and so on. I dont know, but I'll buy Independence Lost for sure and I'll download the patch to OFPR when that comes available.

Ok, I know Placebo is gonna close this, but I'm going nuts over here waiting for the patch. This is the only game I play and have...I am just not a gamer, but this game is awesome. I been hooked since day 1. Anyone else going nuts? reminds me of when I was younger a few days before x-mas...I'm too old to be excited about a couple of fixes..but damn. Seems like forever..... I wonder how often SUMA and team check the buglist thread and what they are working on. What I dont understand is with the Independance Lost campaign coming up..how do they manage time to come out with patches? Or do they bascially work on Independence Lost and fix the problems within that game and apply that code to OFPR? I wonder if IL is going to have another different game engine? Ok, im rambling and am going to shut up now..sorry Placebo.

Let me break it down for you... Since this is the prequel to OFP Cold War Crisis and Guba is in that one...your not gonna catch Guba..in fact...he gets away in a helo. Sorry, but those are facts.

True, but you will see in the upcoming release, Independence Lost, how East Timor and the Tasmainan Devil will relate. Inside word has it that, a relative of Victor Troska will come to the aid of the Tasmainan Devil will he is cornered in East Timor while vacationing with his family. A major conflict breaks out in the region and the Tas and Victor's relative will work together to calm the threats in the region by using new weapons, new netcode, realistic mission to mission stories and the ability to save weapons going from mission to mission. Stay tuned....

My post said from the same region, not the same island. I would consider East Timor and Tasmanian the same region.
