  1. What is the command in a trigger for a enemy general dies, it completes the objective? also how could i make it if i invade a city when every man in the city is dead the objective is complete?

    The AI is probably my biggest concern for ArmA III as with the previous games. Each new game (OFP,ArmA, ArmA II) the AI does get better however I think there is a lot of room for improvement but I know it must be extremely difficult to tune.

  7. Ok, i have tried searching for this and could not find exactly what i was looking for. I am making a survival mission where you and 7 others are waiting for a chopper to come pick you up and you have to defend off waves of enemy troops. However i would like to make it so that the enemy randomly respawns near your camp, and then moves toward it. I know there is a way of doing it but i cant seem to figure it out.     I was wondering if anyone knows somewhere to get some ArmA II wallpapers? I have been looking and havent been able to find any. At the moment i have a screenshot as my backround, but it doesnt look as cool as one that im sure can be made. Im not very artistic or i would make one myself. If anyone could help me out, that would be great, thanks.

  10. I have a Para jump test i am making where a person can halo jump and must land on the target, however i need to make it where the target can have a constant smoke grenade going off, anyone help me?
  11. Ok, i am making a mission to move into a enemy base and rescue downed pilots, what is the command to keep the enemy from shooting the pilots. I also want to make a secondary objective to steal some enemy documents, how would i go about to script that?
  12. ok i did "this setCaptive true" but when the mission starts, they start running away? even when i set them on careless.

  15. Ok, i have 1 squad of 8 guys, i want to have 4 men in 2 UH-1Y Huey's. Now i set both helos to go to invisible H and i have "Transport Unload" for both of them. However once my chopper gets there it lands and auto kicks me out now the other chopper waits until i tell all my men to disembark. Anyway i can make it so that both choppers will land at the same time?
  16. ok well i seemed at have tried everything. Is there anyway to just get the other helo to land, he doesnt have to force my troops out, just land, ill tell them to disembark. Im also running into problems with extraction, seems its not the same in ArmA. I have a helo on radio call when i call it i snych helos WP "Load" and my WP "Getin" and it doesnt work. ---------- Post added at 02:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:44 PM ---------- ok i got the second chopper to land by this command helo2 land "GET OUT" it makes the chopper land and wait for the units to get out. I maybe able to use this for extraction as well.

  18. I have read that thread and have not had much luck. I have both helos set with transport unload, the thing is the chopper im in will land, the other one will wait until i tell my men to disembark. The problem is this cause more crashes because one is trying to land while the other is taking off. ---------- Post added at 12:28 AM ---------- Previous post was Yesterday at 11:47 PM ---------- another solution i could do since 8 guys wont fit in 1 UH-1Y i could make an empty one and make there be 2 pilots but i need to figure out how to make them be pilot and co-pilot.
  19. Ok now i know the simple script of when you complete and objective by lets say blowing or killing something or someone you make a trigger and in coniditon you put !(alive shilka3). On the ACT field you put "1" objstatus "done" and for some reason it is not working anymore. Could anyone tell me a good place read about new info on editing in ArmA II?

    I just canceled my order from EB and order from Gogamer.com (I finally gave in) and my order also says "On hold"? anyone have had their order shipped yet?
