Isn't the artillery really annoying and unrealistic? if your aspecial op sneaking around behind enemy lines and you want to call in an artillery strike you have to have a humvee and a command striker....come on guys...it's silly. Impi

I hope somebody can help me . I have just bought this new card. And the everything is really incredibly bright like I am staring into the sun. Does anybody know how to fix this. I have the latest drivers installed. This card is supposed to be the best AGP card around and its worse than the nvidia 7600gs I had before. How can I tweak it to get rid of the brightness. Can someone tell me how many points it is to corporal. On the wiki it says 500 but on the forum 5000 is mentioned. Anyway I have just gone to a town and deystroyed a shilka where can I see how many points that I have? even though I am not taking on side missions but just trying to take out vehicles ect. Shilka had a crew so should I expect 1600 points? When I have accrued the right no of points how do I actually change my rank from private to corporal? impi

I think this has potential, but I don't really like it because of a number of factors. The couple of missions I have done all seem to start in the same place near the road, deep in enemy territory where there always seems to be one vehicle of some kind that always senses where you are.What kind of scripts are you using for this? To improve it I would suggest that you start from a hidden camp in a forest ect and then have to infiltrate some distance across enemy territory to the target and where you are free to engage other targets as you go thru enemy territory. Also mines and enemy convoys for behind the lines stealth action. Also get rid of the script for the armed vehicles where they know exactly where you are imi

I have trouble with the AI as well. When I try to mount all my soldiers in the Humvees there is always one that won't mount no matter how many times I tell them to. I am playing with 505 dvd version upgraded to 1.08. Also your insertion helicopter seems to stick around after insertion , which can be deadly for it. Why doesn't it return to base. You should have an evacuation order for the helos to come and pick you up to take you back to base. All in all though its really good. Really like the feeling of being part of an army and not just a squad taking on the oppositon regards, Impi

Hi there seems to be a lack of mines(apart from the engineers) in the game. Mines don't seem to be in the arms itinery. From what I've read about special forces missions, mining roads ect seem to be an essential part of their job. Also the most annoying thing about the engineer's mines is that like in ofp they don't blow up trucks or other soft skinned vehicles,which if you read about special ops is an essential part of their use. There is also a lack of anti personel mines. Is anybody developing any anti soft skin vehicle and/or anti personnel mines IMPI

I have a number of points for you guys. The version I have is the english language dvd bought in the uk. Second point is why is this so hard to get this going for so many people, it's kind of ridiculous. I downloaded the Swiss Army Mod at the same time as your one and no problems. It installs and you play it fine. But for yours we have to go thru hoops and roundabouts. Come on guys sort it out!

well I did what you suggested and the game crashed again. Just before it crashes I get this message No entry 'bin\config.cpp\cfgvehicles\soldierGBwoman' and after it crashes I get the following message included in the error report. c\document~1\Impi\locals~1\Temp\99d5-appcompat.txt Do you understand whats wrong and how to fix it?

I am really frustrated with this. I downloaded once and kept on getting something about config bin and women saboteur, before a crash. Then I saw on Armaholic that there were add on fixs.I tried this and same result. On BAC forum they said that you could download it again from there site with the fixed site. So 4 hours later it was downloaded and still the same problem. Is the full version on your web site the new one? Anyway , if other members think this mod is so good, I might try downloading it again. IF there is a clear link to the updated full version that does not need any fixes. impi

Hi I have a bug with the coc pmc missions when I use the ffur/slx mod. The attack helicopters target vehicles, but won't open fire on them- it's really annoying. I have checked all other parameters - like they are not on hold fire ect. Does anyone have a solution. cheers, impi

when I select gear all I get is rifle and machine gun ammo and some anti tank rockets. But no launchers or other weapons. I definitly downloaded version 3. impi

Please could you explain step by step how to access the BIS weapons pool in the first mission. The only source of munitions is from the boat and it only contains ammo and no other weapons-certainly not the vast array of weapons as promoted in the changelog . The version of the campaign is version three so all the BIS weapons should be there. Am I suppose to open the campaign pbo with notebook and change somethings around if so what? impi

On the Wiki it says BIS will putting out a new patch to address the 1.02 patch/64 bit problem. Does anybody have any news of this or a link to this modified patch. NB: I have tried all the suggested fixes.so please do not reply with any more suggestions. I'm only interested in links or news about the modified patch cheers, impi

that's right Nedal....I've posted to mails here asking for help with the same problem as have other people on the BI forums, but nobody from BIS can be bothered to reply. I can wait that's not the problem... the problem is that BIS aren't telling us that the problem is being looked into or even acknowledged. I've reinstalled and tried to patch about seven times already still no joy impi

hi it's impi again, can someone please help me out I'Ve posted before but noone has replied. I have reinstalled my game patched it to 1.01 with no problems, but when I try and patch it to 1.02 I keep getting this type of message below... Verifying ArmA: Armed Assault, version 1.01... Error found in file AddOns\buildings.pbo (04d06910!=84b3e17c) One or more files in game instalation are modified or dammaged. Reinstall game from original CD disc and try again. I would be grateful if anybody could help. I have also tried patching the vanilla straight to 1.02 but still have the same problem with errrors in my building pbo, character pbo, animis pbo ect cheers, IMPI

Jesus h christ! I'm fuming...I have the german version patched to 1.1 like Nayoki I keep getting the same thing i.e.no sara pbo ect...this is ridiculous... I don't have another pc. So can someone please point me to a 1.02 patch that works with windows xp. This is really awful service by BIS.They should have a more professional attitude. impi
