    Freezes

    i've solved my lockup problem by a clean install of the nvidia driver meaning: -uninstall display driver at software -reboot -run driver cleaner for any leftovers -reboot -install the latest driver

    could any of u confirm this happens on battleye enabled and disabled servers? because i dont get a lockup when its disabled on a server audio/video drivers have no effect on this why isnt bis/battleye involved in this issue already?   3. i would like to see more flexibility in the gear menu for example: the M4A1 being more defined like the Special Forces in the Amerca's Army game where you would get a seperate menu to add the M203/Bipod/IronSights/Aimpoint/Heatsink/Silencer attachments.

    Nvidia 8800GT [or related] strange problems

    im also getting the same problems as ModaFlanker + there's something wrong with the gamma on some viewpoints(3rd person) for example in the airport hangar near paraiso its like a glitch of the human eye effects implemented in arma + after using alt+f4 to shutdown arma after escaping the lockup you mentioned i often get a black screen in windows after arma closed all i can do is reboot the system @vilas this is actually an arma bug affecting every1 it was in wide discussion on the previous bugtracker before it was taken offline i wont play on battleye servers anymore. it wont stop those scripted hacks anyway.

    i think it should be called "Armed Assault Beta" since arma 1 actually is an Alpha version full of bugs

    BattlEye problems

    BattlEye is loaded after the mapload is complete and when the black receiving screen appears. that would be the problem then? cant bis/battleye change that to initialize 15 seconds after that (or longer)? servers that are up for a long time with JIP missions need to send alot of data + the client starts the mission scripts and from what i remember from ofp's rts3. is that it always chokes a bit at the start if battleye would initialize after the choking then i gues it would solve alot (correct me if im wrong).

    BattlEye problems

    the 30 second timeout is not enough for example i join a Server running Evolution Blue V2 the loading of the island+additional data would exceed the 30 second deadline even after a full defrag of the hard drive and low video settings i got kicked 4 times in a row this morning and quit arma out of frustration and didnt run any mods/addons my ping was around 140-150ms system specs E8400 3.0Ghz Core 2 Duo 667mhz 2x1GB DDR2 XFX Nvidia 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition 512MB Antivirus » Normal Virus Control » on-access disabled Firewall Disabled Router Firewall Disabled Port open trough DMZ when is this Major Issue being resolved?

  13. i was wondering if my comp would run normally with normal settings in the game System Specs : Intel Desktop Board D915GAV 400Mhz DDR PC 3200 - 4x512MB Asus Nvidia EN6600 PCI-E 256MB Pentium 4 3.0ghz ( HyperThreading enabled ) Windows XP Home SP2 heard about some friends with 768mb video cards who still couldnt play normally will this run or do i need a nasa computer for it?
