Hi folks, About fps-rate: for some reason I do get better (and more consistent) fps when using 1280x1024 than with 1024x768. This holds both for OFP and Resistance demo, dunno about R itself. Hw is Duron800, 256, Ge2MX400 (64mb). I figure that has something to do with memory access, main and gfx card both. It may be more efficent to move stuff around in full hi-res chuncks than partial low-res buffers. Bye, Timo

Hi, You guys listed a lot of interesting ways to complete this mission. For myself, I like the crawl-with-minimal-violence -approach, but I have one problem: the mission won't end! After moving around the fence by north coast, I went to the house, got in, stole the docs. Alarms sounds, I need to kill some guards (varies how many at each repeat play), then wait for rest of the guards to wander of in search. Then I move back to the evac point (near the insertion point, is that correct?) also by going around the fence via north coast. But the mission does not end! I have spend ages crawling and running around cc-46, cc-47 and other nearby coordiantes, no help. What should I do? Does anyone else have this problem? TIA, Timo

Hi, One thing has bugged me in this wonderful and remarkably glitch-free (I only started gaming with 1.46) game: names! And sometimes ranks. At least in my single player campaign the same names are used over and over, even if the said Bobby Whowasit bites dust in just preciding mission. Also, all inf guys have their doubles doing air force duty and rolling around in tanks. This is odd because otherwise the game is sooo good. Why not throw in a file of couple of hundred names & surnames, and just pick random ones? And then the ranks: in some missions the whole tank platoon is full of colonels and majors! Some inf squad has me as leutenant and then 7 sergeants! Latest one is the paradrop on Koljugev, all squaddies are given designation "driver"! Could this be some bizarre win98 localisation error or something? Or is this normal OFP? I am using english copy of the game, with win98se in english. Br, Timo
