CIA questions evidence against Syria: syria

Damn that sounds a poor set up by the makers, how can you release a game that does not have ATI support!! Game developers really do take the micky nowadays.
-
Yeah my thoughts exactly badgerboy, we can watch the explosions on TV!! Also not good news: Russian muslims declare jihad Bit of a bummer for the west, go USA, GO!!
-
I have Splinter Cell on the way from ebay, some have said its better than MGS. Played MGS on the PS thought it was very over rated, most of the disc space was took up with annoying video scenes and radio messages. may see if MGS 2 is on Kazaa ir Bearshare, rather than buying it.

Check this out, pretty good going for the old Iraqi's, Iraq army attack at least us brits have got Basra to deal with, the US can have baghdad and all that goes with it. No more Uk troops going as well, lovely!! US your on your own.
-
Good to see Blair has osme backbone, may have come to realise the folly he has caused in supporting the USA: UK and US disagree over syria and Iran Once we have sorted Basra, I hope the majority of the UK forces are brought home. Or will we have to do the dirty work in Baghdad?

That goes for both sides. At least with us it's unintentional. Semper Fi funny how our "friends" have nothing to say when the Iraqi's are killing civilians wholesale. <span id='postcolor'> did I say the Iraqia weren't killing civilans? I think not. As to the American soldiers killing civilainas unintantionally that's a debate which one should not get into.

Have to agree with Badgerboy, fraging and wasting civilians aint gonna win the Iraqi's hearts over is it? They were kids as far as I could grasp from the article. Seeing the brutality of war up close and personal. Be interesting to see what the Brits are like in action?

Damn dirty chirac Just shows how if you mess around with the middle east it;ll come back to haunt you.

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"> Jesus, Phil Donahue would have an Anuerysm if he read this! However, with the Iraqi's dastardly way of fighting its expected. If shes giving away positions to the enemy, she should have been shot, if the civilians were stupid enough to run into a crossfire between the enemy and US Marines, they deserved it. If a family is standing on a balcony when mortar shells are impacting near-by, sending thousands of pieces of molten metal everywhere, then they got what they deserved for their utter stupidity. I hate to sound like an asshole, but WHY THE SHIT would stand and WATCH a battle when you are practically standing in the middle of it!? What the hell, how do we know that the man on the balcony didn't have a radio and was a spotter for Iraqi mortar fire? <span id='postcolor'> I understand what your saying dude, just posted the article to show what the real picture is out there, rather than the BBC, ITN, CNN, FOX outlook is. War is dirty, bloody and above all deadly.
-
yeah dude, the american troops are just on edge all the time. Reading that article just shows the reality from the spin and gloss the government military is putting out on the air waves. It reminded me of Somalia when I read some of it. Brutal stuff!

Rumsfeld shakes hands with Saddam: See the footage How do you do mr Saddam, I'm sure we'll be friends for years to come,

Check this article out, sort of gives a good feeling for the warfare going on over in Iraq: warfare

Well said lads, its about time these irresponsible arseholes were told to get a bit of professionalism and responsibility. I agree with other posties, the incident will be shoved under the carpet and that young mans life will tossed aside. Geoff Hoon is incompetent and is not suitable for his post as defence secretary.

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"> Next we'll be seeing Colin Powell warning Israel to end its occupation of Syrian territory (Golan Heights) or Syria will face severe consequences. <span id='postcolor'> Nah, he would have to link Israel with Al-qaeda which ain't gonna happen, Colin Powell: 'We've got a new policy Mr President. Anyone who with the name Al, or organisations with the letters A & L in them will be attacked' Bush: 'Good thinking colin, while your at it ask Cheney if some of his oil buddys are interested in some oil rights.'

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"> Anyone who would like to know what the USA's real plans are for the ME should always pay attention when the Whitehouse addresses the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). This is some of what Colin Powel told them yesterday: Quote "Settlement activity by Israel is inconsistent with President Bush`s two-state vision." "It's time for the entire international community to insist that Iran end its support for terrorism. Tehran must stop pursuing weapons of mass destruction and the means to deliver them." "Armed Iraqi Shiite Muslim forces supported by Iran are inside Iraq and will be considered combatants if they interfere with U.S. or British forces in the country." "Syria now faces a critical choice. Syria can continue direct support for terrorist groups and the dying regime of Saddam Hussein, or it can embark on a different and more hopeful course. Either way, Syria has the responsibility for its choices and for the consequences." <span id='postcolor'> Yeah, just watched on Channel 4 news about Powell and his speech this evening. Reveals America's true intentions for the Middle East, dictate to Arab states how they should run their country, 'mission creep' as some may call it. The Pentagon spokesman on CH4 news seemed to reveal pretty much how America sees itself as some moral teacher to these 'barbaric, backward and illerate' arab states, good old Uncle Sam is coming to spread freedom and justice! Sounds like the colonial attitude that we British had to the so-called 'barbaric, backward and illerate' african people's in the 19th and early 20th Century. Just becuase you do not agree with a states system of government does not allow you to attack or try to intervene in that state directly or indirectly. If every country decided they didn't like how others ran their states then what situation would we be in? O.K Syria supporting terrorism is a well known fact, but that does not necessarily mean one has the automatic right to attack a state. I am sure past American administrations have supported terrorist groups, shall we say the Mujhadeen in Afghanistan. These were classed as terrorists by the Russian state.

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Look mate, those lads are fighting for your phoney cause, so far YOUR people have killed more than the enemy, no wonder with such a flippant attitude Let's leave the flag aside for a second. You still have FOF markings on the vehicles, plus the scimitar looks nothing like anything that the Iraqis have, it is a very distinct vehicle. The pilot was a moron and should be tried for manslaughter. <span id='postcolor'> Well said, about time a british soldier said what hye thinks about Americans killing our soldiers. As far as I can see their wreckless and irresponsible, if I was his family I would sue the American military for his death, as well as the soldier responsible.

Another one down: U.S. helicopter crashes in Iraq WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Marine helicopter has crashed in southern Iraq, the Pentagon has said. A Pentagon spokeswoman said on Sunday she could not say if anyone was killed or injured. "We do confirm that there was a crash," she said without providing other details, such as the exact location of the incident or the possible cause."

the real worry is if lunatic bush decides to invade somewhere else because they won't play ball and buy the macdonalds line. Say Iran? Invading Iran would be a big No, No. Conform to many arabs that islam is under attack, not just extreme muslims, but moderate muslims. And we all know what happened in Iran when the American backed leader was depsosed, and attempt to impose a US administration on Iran wills et Middle east alight. All I can say is that i hope the democrats give as good as they can come the next US election.
-
The coalition forces are starting to realise the job may take longer than planned, my worry is if Bush decides to invade somewhere else illegally, really stretch the US army, especially with many EU countries not willing to contibute to iraq's reconstruction. The worse thing they can do is get bogged down. Though time will tell, if Baghdad is not taken by mid April then things could start to get away from Bush and Blair, not to mention the coalition forces.
