ALright I was playing in a server last night and I got a great idea for a mod. I would like to see a hunting mod. I think it would be quiet easy to do all it would need is some sort of animal and a short range of animations. The guns that are currently availible ould be fine but addin a 30-06 or a .303 would set this mod off the charts in my eyes. And the hunting trip could be set up in the editor buy spawning certain animals or whatever.

I just bought the Creative Labs sound blaster Fatality X-FI Xtreme Gamer professional series from COMPUSA. I'm having some issues with the sound. I have installed the patch for the Direct AL support. Whenever I play I set the mode to gaming mode. In the audio options for AMRA the game sounds fine with EAX enable but with the hadware disabled. When ever i enable the hardware it becomes staticy and it will have a high frequency durring menus. Does anyone know a fix or something that im doing wrong. Even in the entertainment settings i get feedback and static. I'm using headphones for the input. I am using a plantronics audio .350 * i have also tried running 2:1 speakers and i have the logictek x-230 (*EDIT) Sorry i meant to post this is trobleshooting.

major updates added to post and noone seems to have this rpoblem so im thinkning it may be the card?

thanks for the great replys but its still not working for me, I have not tried the FDF mod or whatever but i have updated my pios and still no luck. I really dont want tot return this card. Tried with the other slot and still no help. Well my EB games didn't have any copies of ARMA available when they said and now they are telling me sometime next week. So i drove to walmart and was disappointed when i couldn't find the game, but i kept looking and they had the game on the very bottom shelf behind the game where they keep the excess overflow. They had about 10 in stock.

I tried google and walmart last night at 9:45 pm and at target they had absolutely no idea what that game was. At walmart they lady told me may 8th.

Well i recently came across this game and had the European demo and noticed that there was a US demo release. So i uninstalled my Euro version and went to install it, but i waited and waited and I was only at 3 bars after 15 minutes of install time. I thought it was kind of strange so I had a friend try it and he installed it within 5 minutes meanwhile mine was just now at 6 bars. Within a 1 hour period i had only reached 8 bars. " I was eating and hanging my shirts during this time." So when i came back i noticed it said it was copying files which I thought was weird... and after I navigated to my Atari folder I saw that all my counter strike mods were being installed to that folder. operantly The install makes a temp folder and extracts files to your desktop and makes a folder called addOns. Well seeing how I already had this folder it was installing the game stuff plus injecting my files into the folder. Once I renamed my add ons folder the Install went smoothly.
