Well if it´s too difficult, the answer is: Use an already released model and then modify it as you want, if it´s posible of course. Greetings
-
Very cool indeed
-
Well I´ve not done a draw of the back part, but feel free to invent it as you want. I made the backpack of that troopers like something similar to a jetpack or a suply backpack so you can play with these ideas About the textures, i´m afraid it will be not posible at least in a short-middle period of time due to job reasons. I´ve a lot of designs to do and I don´t have too much free time Anyway i´m sure you´ll do a great work with these textures Finally thanks for adding my clones to your pack P.D: I forgot to put this quick sketch design before, but maybe you could find something useful to use in your custom EPIII clone pilot: Greetings and keep it up
-
Thanks all for your comments! @jankyballs: If I have some free time i´ll try to do something more, but right now i can´t assure it. Greetings

Impressive look

Hi Sorry but I don´t know anything about o2, so I can´t help you with the selections issue Anyway, i found some time to finish my concept clone and here it is, I hope you like it: The background story behind that troopers is quite simply. That division was created to protect Republic installations (like tibanna gas mines or military bases) in other worlds during the Clone Wars. You can consider them as the real-life military police but in a USMC way Greetings

First of all thank you very much (including Gandalf the White) That particular concept (as the previous i posted two pages before) was entirely made in photoshop. About the looking of the clone trooper, well I don´t want to modify the EPIII standard clone trooper looking too much; I could do something completelly new but I prefer to hold the same style as in EPIII. Anyway that ARC has some subtle diferences with the basic clone (specially the helmet), but as I said before this is an early concept made in a few minutes so expect some big changes in future updates. Greetings!
-
Well, due to job related reasons, I don´t have much free time right now, but i had some time to start this early concept art for the custom ARC Trooper (made without any visual reference but my poor visual memory): I hope you like it. Greetings
-
Thank you very much SpecOp9. I try to do my best, like in all other designing facets P.D: I´m about to start the design of a special clone commando for Acacyn as soon as possible. P.D 2: Acacyn, you ARC model is just awesome!!! two thumbs up!
-
Hi Acacyn I´ve seen your concept clone pilot sketch for the Arcs, the V-Fighters or the LAATs. I´ve to say it´s a nice start, nice concept. But if you need help with it, i´m graphic designer and I make concept art and matte paintings in my free time. Here is a little example of custom clone units (inspired in already created clones) i´ve done recently for a friend´s proyect. Greetings

Finally I let the mod die, since i didn´t found support enough to make the addons. Also a long time away i started to model a URO Vamtac Pack (called VAMTAC and not Rebeco which is the civilian version of the VAMTAC) (the spanish humvees) but it suffered the same destination as the Infanteria de Marina MOD due to same reasons. Here are a few pics of that WIP: (not o2 modeling)

We (Spain) don´t have the Leopard 1 model (never had it). We have the Leopard 2 A4 and a variant of the A5 developed with german and spanish technology known as Leopardo.

Totally agreed on US soldier modification. BIS one looks a little bit out of proportion, specially the helmet and the shoulders.
-
I´ve seen other screens of that thing and i really don´t know what is it. Perhaps a russian plane crashed? or a Predator spaceship with wrong camouflage?
-
The time, and the units...all are what i´ve been waiting for. US Army, USMC, SpecOps and all of them in a modern combat environment I´m very happy. To say the truth; i don´t like vietnam era games, but that´s because i´m a lover of modern warfare.

it´s a joke shown in the Colonial Marines Technical Manual

@marine26thmeu: Totally agreed with you.

hmmwv replied to D.murphy man's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
That´s because download managers are not allowed in rapidshare free accounts. Anyway, rapidshare.de is a crap look for another file hosting service. -
@sgtkill: you´re beta tester within "semper fidelis addon studio" that means you´re official beta tester for Fk addons. usmarine408 who have join our team recently, is looking for beta testers for his usmc addons (that initially were developed appart of our mod). Perhaps usmarine408 doesn´t know your status within our mod, and that could be the reason of your situation.

Check your PMs

Well, first of all, will be people who want choppers and will be people who want wheeled stuff. Personally I prefer both. And about the FK´s CH-53... their models and textures are much more accurate than scorpio´s CH-53; don´t get me wrong, his model wasn´t bad at all, but it was very difficult to handle (even in 1.1 version) and had some disturbing bugs. Just be patient; FK is working in an impressive LAV pack (just need help on some scripts) and some day, not very far, will be released. Now that he have help from UsMarine408 all that stuff and much more will be posible.

Well MC227, here are the answers: A) Goodyear Wrangler MT tires are being used since the first 80s versions. Right now you could see humvees with another tires (spec-ops specially), but the MT are still used at present day. B)Common machine guns in A1 variants are the M249, the M60 and the M2 Browning. C)All the up-armored versions were introduced in late 1994 early 1995, and their first operations theatre was in Bosnia. I´ve lots of reference material about humvees (mostly in books/magazines) so i´ll see what do i have about the 2nd company in Iraq. If you need any other reference material just tell me. ;)

Hi fisch! sad news mate, but i understand your situation (right now i´m like you) but look! UsMarine408 is offering his help! good news! P.D: I have some news about the web page Keep it up mate and greetings!!!

There are not armored turrets on humvees previous to 1995-96. These humvees are the old 1985-86 A1 variants (just look at the mirrors) used during Operation Just Cause in Panamá or during the first Gulf War, when the armored turrets for the humvees had not been developed yet. (Even the up-armored versions had not been developed yet in these years) These humvees are freakin´ awesome!
